I mean I'd hide it underground, but with a dead dog a foot or two above it. Then if police dogs sniff it up, they'll dig up the dog first and think that's what they were smelling and carry on.

Yeah! Just get it stuffed and have it on display in your home. Maybe put a disguise on it to throw off the cops. It can be like that kid who had the funeral where he was just propped up with a joint. NOICE.
