When is the snow supposed to fall?

Around December 12th, I think. After that, you'll be able to make snowmen.

My bulletin board says that a blizzard is expected this weekend, so I think Sunday it will be snowy for good!!

Snowstorm on the 10th, snow will be on the ground from the 11th.

The snowstorm might not happen this year due to that stupid Fishing Tourney happening on the same day (in New Leaf at least). I never liked how the game can't handle 2 events at the same time. The GCN game will have a snowstorm however as Fishing Tourneys take place on Sundays and not Saturdays in that game. Snowstorm or not however, the town will still be covered in snow on December 11th all the way to some time in February or March.

Unfortunately it's happening in City Folk as well. i loaded up my town today and there's no snow and there's a fishing tourney. i MUCH rather have a blizzard than a fishing tourney like honestly

I'm not huge on the December snow in Animal Crossing. I love snow but the gloomy days are so tiring. January snow is super pretty and light out so I love it.
