Which Animal Crossing game should I replay?

In anticipation for New Horizons, I've been playing New Leaf, but I'm missing some aspects of City Folk and Wild World. Now, if you had to choose which older game to replay (sorry, excluding Population Growing for now), which one would it be & why? Vote in the poll & reply below :3

My vote goes to Wild World. I personally have always found it a much more enjoyable game than City Folk, and if you're looking for contrast from New Leaf I think it's more different! City Folk and New Leaf share some holidays whereas Wild World's are all unique.

Definitely do Wild World. I have always loved that game so much and to me, it's a lot better than City Folk was. Of course, the reason I'm not to fond of City Folk is because I never really liked games that are on discs. They get scratched up soo easily, but Wild World has a lot of neat events, like the acorn festival I think it was called? Not sure if City Folk had it though.

i voted city folk cos it is my favourite out fo the franchise. the music always did it for me and i enjoyed the layout of the town. also i had a villager who was a white bear in my original city folk town which i never saw again sadly, but she was a fave for sure i also really enjoyed a lot of the events in city folk

I know I'm a bit late but I preferred Wild World much more at first for the fact that it's portable but also because I remember playing City Folk and being bored by it. I liked the city mechanic but I wanted a bigger area to explore in the city. I wish there was more to it, and the controls took quite a bit of getting used to especially on the Wii. The music they used in City Folk was really pretty though. I actually enjoyed the city music they added. In Wild World, they have the constellations you can customize as well as the snarky characters really let you know how they're feeling. I enjoyed that too.

I started with Wild World and never played City Folk, so I'd have to go with Wild World, though City Folk looks awesome too.

Putting in a vote for Wild World! I will admit it does not hold up graphically, but I always enjoy it more than City Folk. It just feels refreshing to play for some reason.

As much as it hurts my eyes, the dialogue and events are such a winner you have to re-play Wildworld! Also super nostalgic and while it isn't as good as new leaf, a lot of aspects of it are. Never actually played cityfolk (don't have a wii) but it is extremely un-popular. However, if you have played both before then I suppose it's personal preference!

I voted wild world. Was my first proper AC game (when I played it I went back and bought city folk) and is very nostalgic for me

I can’t say I’ve played either but just by community talk I’ve definitely heard Wild World was better
