I've owned most of them...but let most of them go at this point.
Thinking the only ones I still have are Wii, Wii U, DS Lite, 3DS, and Switch. There were some times back in the day when I had to sell things here and there to make a few bucks...so, I definitely sold my N64 and Gamecube to friends. Not even sure what happened to my Gameboy Color, GBA, GBA SP, original DS, etc. Maybe given away...maybe sold. I don't even remember. I kinda regret losing those...but also don't have a ton of space to keep them. So...I'm 50/50 on how I feel about that. Also, the Wii plays Gamecube games, and the 3DS plays original DS games, and the DS Lite plays GBA games. So, yeah...anything that has backwards compatibility is what I generally have hung onto.
Note: I never owned an NES or SNES, because I was born in 1988 and our family was a Sega Genesis family. So...my entire childhood was Sega-based until I got the Gameboy Color. That was my first Nintendo system.
We've got a GBA SP, Gamecube, bulky original DS, 3DS, 2DS, and Switch!
What we usually do is buy the console around when it firsts releases and try to make it last, our original DS and 3DS managed to last through their entire run (though granted by the end of the 3DS run ours lagged most of the later games). Then we may or may not buy a better console later, that's what we did with our 2DS we only recently bought it used.
I have SNES Classic, N64, Gamecube, Gameboy Advance, Advance SP, DS, 3DS XL, and Switch. The N64 is my childhood one. The Gamecube is a replacement because my childhood one fell because my cousin pulled the controller too hard and stopped reading discs at some point
oh I also have an old black Wii my grandma gave me for free but I never got games for it since I got it well after the console life cycle.
Just the switch which I bought with my own money. My dad I guess learned me playing vidya games was a bad idea when I was younger and refused to buy me anything.
I have access to them all, but only have a GC and switch in my house
and I've owned every nintendo handheld at some point, and still have my original gameboy, gameboy advance sp and 3ds c:
i have a snes (it’s actually my dad’s but he hasnt touched it since he was in college lmao), an n64 (kind of on its last legs but it works well enough for now), a gamecube, a wii, a ds fat + ds lite + dsi + 3ds and my switch!
I have the switch, a 2DS, and a DS i. I've had the gameboy and wii in the past! I kinda of want to get a 3DS even though I have my 2DS already, I have my eye on the animal crossing themed one!
Played all, but only owned those from the Gamecube onwards. No idea what happened to the Gamecube, but I gave my Wii to my old flatmate when I moved out and my Wii U broke, so I only have the Switch (regular and Lite) now.
Owned all handheld consoles since the original gameboy. Recently found my Game Boy Color when helping my parents to clear out a cupboard no one had opened in well over a decade. A wardrobe had been in front of it all that time and it was presumed to be empty. Turns out an old TV, a desktop computer, and dozens of PS1 and PC games were stored in there.
i grew up on a gamecube, gameboy advance SP, and my older brothers' n64. later i had a wii, a DS lite, and a 3DS. bought my switch last year. the n64 eventually passed due to old age (rip) and the gamecube died in a house fire. sold my wii to help me pay for the switch. holding on to all of my handhelds! i still play the old pokemon games religiously.
i'm considering buying another gamecube when i have money to spare (whenever that'll happen lol). i still own copies of some gamecube games that i love.
I'be owned nearly every Nintendo console ever made at some point.
I got my NES in 89 (I'm old dude) after a summer of saving my allowance. Gameboy was right after that. SNES came the christmas of 93 I believe. N64 was Christmas of 96? Whenever it was new. Got the Virtualboy and yes it sucked. Never had a Gameboy color but my brothers did. I just had no interest in portable gaming at that time.
The Cube was the first one I ever owned on launch day because I was an adult by then with my own money. Also had the GBA and then later the GBA SP. Had the Wii the christmas it came out. The DS on launch night and the DS XL. A 2DS (I don't care for 3D) AND I have a Switch.
Really the only system I never owned or played was the WiiU. It seemed like a bad concept from day one to me...plus I was broke for a while.
I have the Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, and Nintendo Switch. I don't play the Gamecube as much since the Wii can play Gamecube games and my homebrewed Wii U can as well. I play my Wii a lot for the Mario Kart Wii CTGP Revolution and Smash Legacy XP mods. Wii games I play on the Wii U because they look a little nicer. The Switch is the most used of them all though.
