Which of your villagers houses will you redesign?

I'm 100% redecorating Julian's house. I love his mystical theme but just cramming every zodiac item in and calling it a home annoys me. He has no seat and no bed. (Also Diana gifted him an Instant Muscles Suit which I messed up telling him 'no' on, so although he doesn't wear it he has it on display in the centre of the room ><)

I also wanna tidy up Diana and Judy's houses cos of some bad gifts. Judy has a doll house on the big central table and a painting set on top of her drawers and i'd like them swapped. And Diana has a couple of bugs on display

He would be perfect to pair up with tiansheng, both being orange jock monkeys.
But my island has an autumn theme to it and his cherry blossom house just will not do!

Maggie’s home is the only one I’ll probably give a full makeover. It’s awful. Why so many garden wagons??

Other than that I’ll remove clothing and insects/bugs being used as furniture from villager homes.

Any villager who has an outdoor decor inside their home will be redesigned. I still want to keep it to their style but I want them to have an actual home that makes more sense.

I’m not a fan of those either. Some of the interiors are actually very nice and well thought out, but I just don’t like the fake exterior interiors.

Sprocket for sure; the basic wooden furniture is a nice reminder of him being there from the very start, but boy does it pale in comparison to what his default home is.

I might also redecorate Raymond’s interior? I’m not sure. I like the business cat idea, yet after having Eugene in the past who has a similar interior, it feels more and more like same-house syndrome. Purrhaps he could use a unique home flair.

I see myself making small changes (i.e. wallpaper swaps, coordinate colors better, etc.), but I like the charm of the defaults. I don’t think I will go crazy and add columns, change room sizes, etc. I will leave that for HHP homes.

Fake exterior interior rooms can look really cool if done right. Using points of view and items to make a room feel open air but still walled. I can't wait for partition and accent walls to make some amazing open air rooms.

Oooh that's just given me an idea for Pinkie's house. Having a room with the back wall the cherry blossoms trees and wooden interior.

I will be starting with Flo and Cube on my main island. Flo still has her starter house.Cube I don’t like his interior and was surprised it was not ice furniture like the rest of the penguins. I wouldn’t mind as much if he didn’t use pastel colors. The rest of my villagers will probably just get small changes like not having clothing all over their room.

On my second island it would be Sprinkle because she has her starter house. A few others that have outside furniture like Joey instead of inside furniture. Still not going to make major changes.

TBH all of them lol but first priority are my original islanders, who have horrible interiors. Especially Agnes. It's half block furniture, half fish.

Raddle, Eugene, Mira and Cashmere's house should look like as if they did in New Leaf, and perhaps add some pizazz to it when I redesign it like that.

Depends on if we can do exteriors. In which case, probably a few. But out of my current villagers, Marty will likely get a makeover. I love him as a villager, but TBH, I'm not overly fond of the Sanrio houses since they only really use Sanrio furniture and it's so obvious they're "fan" houses. I want to give him a more cozy cottage fit for a cute little critter like him! Also, I may redo Grizzly's just to give him a really upgraded "ranger station" (he's our friendly forest ranger). And maybe Peggy, depending on how long I keep her, to give her a more farm-y house since she is the current "farmer" in my town. Maybe Tad, too.
