Pokémon Which Pokémon Would You Have As Pets?

Most realistically, probably Eevee would be a good pet. It's the size of a small or medium-sized dog, it doesn't have any crazy elemental powers that might kill or maim you or destroy your house, and they're usually depicted as very friendly and cuddly.
But I'd also love to have a Lucario--my favorite Pokémon--since, according to the Pokédex, they're able to understand human speech, and at least one of them can talk telepathically, and they can sense emotions, so it seems like they'd be sensitive to your mood and make good companions. And they can sense people and animals that are unseen for whatever reason, so it would protect you from anyone sneaking up on you.
Just be careful if you hug one, they've got a big, sharp spike on their chest. Maybe go for a side-hug or just pet it on the head. XD
An honorable mention goes to Furret. They're super cute and another one of my favorite Pokémon. The only reason I wouldn't want one is because of how gigantic they are. If they were only as big as Pikachu, I'd probably say they'd be one of the best pets. But the Pokédex says they're 5'11" (1.8m) ! They're way taller than I am! I wanted it to be small enough to ride on my shoulder. ^o^;>

I love Munchlax and I would say I’d love a Munchlax for a pet if I didn’t worry about all the food it’d eat or need.
Riolu, Mudkip, Wooper, Shroomish, Vaporeon, Oshawott, Delibird, Smeargle, Ditto, Ponyta or Rapidash (I love horses) - are some others that I’d be interested in too. There are probably more but those are the ones that I could think of at the top of my head.
If I could have a legendary as a pet, I’d want Mew for obvious reasons

If I were going to have a pet Pokémon, then I'd probably choose a smaller Pokémon. Pachirisu is the first one that came to mind. They're super cute and tiny. A shiny Sylveon would make an adorable pet as well

Regular Zigzagoon that becomes a Linoone. I loved that pokemon until they made it look like a KISS character.
I love Zigzagoon and Linoone because of their pick-up ability. When I first started the game of Pokemon Ruby (?) I caught a Zigzagoon with the pick-up ability and it kept picking up nuggets and other items I desperately needed at the beginning of the game.
At one point, I had 4 Zigzagoons and a Torchic in my party. Mainly because I wanted to sell the nuggets and use the potions and stuff the Zigzagoons gave me. It's also an excellent Pokemon to be a companion

I did want to say Hoppip, but Eevee would make a great pet.
I'd like an Umbreon When it comes to pets, any of the Eevee line, Vulpix line, or cats would work for me. I also think a little plant buddy like Bulbasaur would be nice since I'm a houseplant enthusiast. Even a Pikachu would be cute! Or maybe something I could fly with like Noivern.
Lots of possibilities, but Umbreon is king.
