The next handheld system... Preferably some kind of DS, but as long as it's nice and portable, then I'm fine with that. Oops, didn't see the poll. Voting now.

I hope it's on the 3DS, maybe the new 3DS (I'd rather not buy one anytime soon but I'm willing to if they start making a lot of exclusive games). If it's on the Wii U I probably won't play it because I don't have a Wii U and I don't want to buy a whole non-handheld console just to play one game.

I'm hoping for the Wii U, beacuase of the possiblities compared to the 3ds and new 3ds while the portablility will be missed but I generaly didn't play "on the go" and if I wanted to do that, I'd have new lead :)D) anyways, I'm hoping for Wii U

(don't mind bad english, not native speek

I at least hope that if they do make a new animal crossing game it won't just be new 3ds exclusive and you can get it on the old 3ds :(
It gets annoying when systems make a game only for that certain game system.

true that, I hate when comapany's do that, and I just bought my 3ds :c

while i'd love for it to be on the 3ds we have now idk if they'd be able to make a whole new, better game with it.
Hopefully the new 3ds will be more powerful so they could add better features and stuff.

But there's no damn way im buying a Wii U just to play it tho. AC works better handheld imo

Considering the most recent pattern of console-handheld-console-handheld, I'm predicting the next game to be on Wii U. Though, I wouldn't mind if the game had a cross-system release like Super Smash Brothers for 3DS and Wii U. :)

why would they do that
its the same ds but with new plates
they wont make it new ds exlusive

The Wii U's amazing, it should be on there.

The processing power is much much powerful than the original 3DS.

That's why Xenoblade Chronicles is a 3DS exclusive.

The more you know. ;)

I would like an AC game made for both the WiiU and new 3DS. So I can play an improved version of New Leaf while I'm in a hotel or on the road (I don't drive though).

Wii U! I don't even have one, I'm looking for an excuse to get one, and this would be it.

I'm pretty new to the game, but it's definitely a pick up and play kind of experience. I feel like it's much easier just grabbing a handheld and busting out a few daily chores than starting up a home console, so I'm gonna go with either the 3DS or Nintendo's next handheld, depending on how far away that is.

Wii U would be the best one. 3DS, that is kinda stupid. Two Animal Crossings on the same system? Yeah. Like that's EVER gonna happen

If they're following the usual pattern they'll put it on the Wii U. Although to be honest, I wasn't all that attracted to City Folk, even though Population Growing remains the best AC game tied with New Leaf. I think they could just get away with putting the next one on a handheld console, although I think it'd be a bit soon.

I, personally, would like the next AC game to come out for the New 3DS. The upgrades they could make on the New 3DS in comparison to what was possible on the normal 3DS could be great. Although, if they're going with what they done with City Folk, the pattern will automatically make the next game come out on the Wii U. I think if it was to come out on the New 3DS, it would definitely give me a reason to purchase one.

I also don't particularly like AC games on consoles; I think AC on handhelds is way better in my opinion as I love being able to do do things to my town whenever & wherever I am. I couldn't get into City Folk that much because of this (& also the lack of additions, as well).
