Which system are you hoping the next animal crossing is going to be on?

It's not confirmed or anything but it would be very, very wierd for new leaf to be the last game of the series

Wii U would be the best one. 3DS, that is kinda stupid. Two Animal Crossings on the same system? Yeah. Like that's EVER gonna happen

It shouldn't happen on any current platform if you ask me. It's a better fit for a handheld device, but we should really get a new one first. If one had to come along though, I'd say don't spoil it by chaining players to their TVs.

I hope it would be on a home console AND have a 3DS version (like SSB4) where you can have multiple towns and play a town "on the go" on the portable

I'm hoping for a wiiU. I thought that it would be great because if they made it on the wiiu, it will probably be 2+ players. It would be awesome in my opinion ^.^

I did it. I got a 3DS just for Animal Crossing.

If they release one, I imagine it either being on the regular 3DS or on the next true Nintendo handheld system.
I can't see them putting it on the 'new 3DS' since Animal Crossing is such a casual game for most, and I can't imagine most of the customers are even going to upgrade to the 'new 3DS' since as of now, it seems to only be for 1 port of a Wii game (Xenoblade).
Animal Crossing just has such a large number of casual players, I just can't imagine Nintendo putting it on a system that most of them won't buy since it would severely hurt the games sales.

WiiU version? Eh, maybe if they did what they do with Smash where the WiiU version is somewhat better but the 3DS is still enjoyable without it. I just think Animal Crossing works so much better on a handheld than it does with a home console.
I think it comes to the point again of who the Animal Crossing audience are and how they aren't likely to own a WiiU.
The DS was popular with casual players, so was the Wii and the 3DS...I can't imagine the same people buying a WiiU just for Animal Crossing.

Wii U. I bought a Wii U mainly anticipating for a new AC, and it would be amazing. Really, it would be a FAIL if Nintendo made the AC for the New 3DS. You waste your time making a brand new console (which really was a sales flop) and then don't make a game on that console, specifically the series that made most/a large amount of your sales for that console?
