Which villager best represents 'the face' of Animal Crossing?

If I had to pick just one... Rosie.

Bob, Peanut, Bunnie, Goldie, Bill, and Stitches are always around in promotional material, too.

Do you think Smash would add villagers as palette swaps\color variants? (Seems to be the best thing to do with the cat villagers)
Or would they have them as individual character tiles? (which I personally dislike because their move sets are the same :\)

Spontaneously, I would say Rosie, since she can represent the franchise quite good imo. She's one of the classic Animal Crossing villagers with an adorable look, is probably well known by many people and also has a good amount of merchandise.

I agree with Rosie being a good representation for animal crossing!
Despite her I always think of blubear being a good face for it, because her cuteness is so fitting with this game!
Other good options for me are Bob, Fauna, Apollo and Bunnie!

I would have to say Rosie? Idk but when I think of OG animal crossing villagers she’s the first to pop up in my mind. Just a super iconic villager - I guess because during the early days of animal crossing there weren’t that many “cute” villagers like today so Rosie really stood out? Believe she’s also in the animal crossing anime movie too so I think not many more villagers could get more classic than her

Any of the ones from the Animal Crossing movie I think of as "the face" of Animal Crossing. But I see why people would identify Rosie specifically as "the face".
