Which villager is your closest/best friend?

For me, it's a tie between Kid Cat and Marshal, just because they have with me forever. As well have never asked to leave.

But which of your villagers would you concider as your best, or closest friend, and why?

i think it's probably a tie between Eugene and Marina <3 <3 i just love them both so much and i go out of my way to talk to them more than i do the other villagers on the island.
Eugene is probably my absolute favorite, though. it's maybe silly, but he reminds me so much of one of my partner's D&D characters, both in personality and in appearance, and good god do i love that guy lmao. the character is named "Henry" and i always catch myself accidentally referring to Eugene as Henry, lol

Colton for sure. Today is his birthday and I gave him the royal crown. His birthday party was great and his dialogue remained perfect. I like most smug villagers but Colton is the best.

Cesar. He’s my favorite villager and um I guess that’s the only reason I can think of LMAO

Easy. Mine is Annalisa. She is everything I vibe with. Used to have her in my NL town, but I was sad when she moved away. She mailed me her photo before leaving, though, telling me how much she valued our friendship. I missed her a lot, until we were reunited in a random NMT island~ and ever since then she has been my neighbor and closest friend living in Magicant

It's real hard choosing just one villager. Honorable mentions include Bud, Henry, Plucky and Rod <3

all of my villagers have tried to leave at one point or another except for rilla since she’s new lol and while i’m close with everyone, i consider beau to be my best friend. i’ve talked about this quite a bit but beau was my absolute #1 favourite for years - i mean, i was obsessed with the guy back in new leaf lol, even before the game released in NA. he saw me through my first depressive episode not really, though since he moved out that week :/ and was essentially the one consistent thing in my life for a bit which is,, sad now that i’ve typed that out . nowadays, i’m not as obsessed with him as i had once been and even thought i wouldn’t have him this time around but while things have definitely changed, i still love him a lot and he’ll always be so special to me.

Peewee would be mine. The reason why is I like his design, had him in acnl, and he's a good cranky.

Punchy, of course and after him, Rudy even though for a long time Kiki was my number 2; Puddles was my best girl friend in NL. I think it is mostly my NL memories that has made me so fond of Punchy since I keep needing breaks from NH and haven’t been talking to my villagers a lot when I do play. Rudy I have become so attached to him in spite of the sweat and muscle talk and I have grown tolerant of the talk . I love Rudy for his expressions, design and also just grew to love him from bonding from when I was playing more actively.

Static. He's my favorite villager and he's been on my island the longest.

His photo was also the first villager photo I received in New Horizons.

Kiki, without a doubt. She's been with me since the Gamecube days and is a total sweetheart. I just vibe with black cats. They are the most wonderful, magical creatures in the world

Really weird for me, but it's Dizzy! I was annoyed when he randomly moved in, because I don't like elephants in the game at all, besides Chai.
Anyways, one day I was working on a playground and he started coming and interacted with a ball to make it bounce and after that ran away. I thought that was so freaking cute and since then he became my best friend! His design is cute, but I am still wondering if I will keep him forever. I feel like I will regret it, if I let him go one day, but at the same time I like to switch up villagers >.<

Tybalt is the best villager ever, but if I had to pick just one to be on my island it would be Megan as she's the only good normal in the game, where as lots of jocks are amazing.

My closest villager is Fauna, she's my overall favourite in the game as I love her design and think she's really cute. Also she's one of my villagers that very rarely asks to leave, though I'd never agree even if she did ask as my game wouldn't be the same without her.

Diana and Judy are close joint seconds for my closest villager, I'd not really considered having either of them but picked them up on mystery tours months ago and fell in love with both of them. Their designs are really pretty and they've always been really kind, despite been snooty, and are nearly always sending me lovely letters.

Goldie is definitely my best friend on New Horizons. She was the first photo I’ve received, and she threw my birthday party on the game. I love Goldie.
