Who are the best (and worst) monkey villagers and why? 🐒

I’m not a massive fan of the monkeys, but they are decently cute. Nana Was on one of my towns for a bit, and I really did enjoy her. Elise on the other hand, Absolutely Drives me insane. She was on one of my towns for a bit and I absolutely could not stand her.

the actual best monkey villager is for sure champ. as for non-villagers i love porter so much, he's one of my favourite animal crossing characters ever. he's meant even more to me now that i've been taking the train more often.

Honestly... not too much of a fan of any of the monkey villagers.

But! Flip or Elise look pretty cute! I don't think I've ever had any of the monkey villagers before.

I’m not really a fan of monkey villagers, I don’t even think I’ve ever had one on my island in new horizons at all. Not
at all deliberate though, I’ve just never encountered one on mystery islands or my campsite. Anyways my favorite would definitely have to be Tiansheng because monkey king, but since he is not on this poll (and neither is Champ or Porter!!) I voted for Nana simply because she’s pink. Worst monkey villager would have to be Tammi, her eyes be freaking me out.

Deli is my favorite by far. I don't really like the monkeys, and Deli is the only one I'd actually want on my island. I do like the fact that Tiansheng is based on the monkey king though

The only good monkey is Porter. The monkeys had some mystique back in Wild World when they were Tag Mode-exclusive, but now? I hate them. Monkeys are creepy.

Shari and Nana are the cutest monkey villagers.

I don't really hate any of them, but Deli and Elise catch my attention the least.

I am not a huge fan of the monkey islanders but if I had to pick I like Nana she looks cute.

Ohh I love the monkey villager design, I think it's a really cute one, but the ones I'd consider best would have to be Deli and Tiansheng!! I've got Deli on my island and I love his colors and big round eyes. Tiansheng is really cool (I love the Sun Wukong/Monkey King inspiration) and I'll definitely be considering him for my villager lineup in the next game!

For worst, I'll go with Monty. I don't think the half-lidded expression works for him.

I'm not really a fan of the monkey villagers, like the kangaroo villagers, no idea why. Some of them are cute.

I guess with really liking so many other types of villagers, the monkeys end up being in my meh category. I guess narrowing it down, I'd put nana and flip at the top.

The best monkey villager isn't even listed on the poll. What is this conspiracy? It's obvious that Champ is the best. He also looks the most like an actual monkey of all the villagers. Deli would be my second.

I adore Shari! She was a former dreamie of mine back in New Leaf. I recall meeting her in a friends town and I expressed how lucky she was to have Shari. My friend actually disliked her so she told me she'd let me have Shari if/when she moved out and stayed true to her word. I kept her for a good while, but I started wanting other villagers more and if I recall, her house got in the way of some plans so I had to let her go. The white and gray combination is simple and the yellow feed and legs is something I don't mind (iirc my friend thought it was a strange design choice).

My least favourite monkey villager is Elise though. Her fur colour has a stranggreenish tint to it that looks odd with the rest of her palette, and those lips... just why.

I really need to give Monkeys a go more. They look fun.

I really love Elise, thanks to Pocket camp~ I just love her personality.
Nana, Shari and Tianshieng look really cool, and wanna try them out more. I've had Tammi in New Leaf before, and her hair is literally a banana.
I dunno if I like Simon or Deli; but I am willing to give Monty and Flip a go.
