This is from my rep's birthday last year on Billington.It was hosted by Pompom with Quillson and Maelle as the guests.
Edit: This just happened today.I forgot that I set my birthday on a random day which happened to be today.Sasha hosted this dude fest with Frett and Ace as the guests.

The villagers on my birthday were Goldie, Bea, and Mac. It was hosted by Goldie. I used to assume it was hosted by only normal villagers, but I think it’s based on who you are closest with. It makes sense since I did talk to Goldie quite a lot, and probably more than any other villager. I love how sweet the normal villagers are.

My very first birthday celebration was hosted by Merengue, with Audie and Curt in attendance
I was happy! I wasn't sure how it all worked, but I got the hang of it lol Very cute celebration!
I'm not gonna lie though, I was very bummed my favorite villager wasn't there
I figured not much could be done about that though since I'm sure it's random who comes/hosts, but then next year rolls around and...
My favorite Chief is not only there but was the one hosting, with Stitches and Raymond attending! Best in-game birthday ever!

Just looked back through some of my screenshots. Bud was one of my originals. Ellie and Audie are still on Baysde and not going anywhere. Next pic definitely 3 favs and Bayside permanents. Fun looking back at pics. Really nice memories of fun times with islanders and online friends

My birthday passed when NH released in 2020, so that's out of the question. I got a Switch Lite for my birthday in 2021, so I didn't even get to play the game that year (I was playing on my dad's Switch at the time). But last year it was Snake, Apollo, and Judy. This year it was pretty much the same cast with Apollo, Snake, and Bea. Makes sense that I was that close with my favorite villager if Apollo was hosting my 2023 birthday party, haha.

The first time I celebrated my birthday in New Horizons Bianca threw a party for me, and Raymond and Audie atteneded and I was very touched. It is very sweet.
I love how they put on a special fancy outfit for your special day. Raymond's top hat gets me every time.

I've put the screenshots in spoiler tags since they're big, but my first birthday celebration was with Hazel, Paula, and Lobo; second birthday celebration was with Hazel, Boyd, and Buck; third birthday celebration was with Hazel, Boyd, and Buck. The first one was on my first island, while the most recent two were on my current island. It's the same Hazel, I just had her move because she's my bestie and I thought she fit really well on St. Jude over the first island.
This was on my first island, Taco Bell. Hazel, Paula, and Lobo, with Hazel hosting.
The first celebration on my current island, St. Jude. It's the same Hazel from Taco Bell, and it makes me really happy that she is still one of my closest villagers. This year was her, Boyd, and Buck, with Boyd hosting. He was one of the first villagers to move to St. Jude (randomly), and he fits the theme so well ("island of lost causes," i.e. "villagers no one else wants").
And from this year on St. Jude! Hazel is still attending my birthday parties, as are Boyd and Buck, who is the host this year. I really love that each of them has hosted my birthday party and that it's the same three from last year. Buck was a random move-in like Boyd, and I was not excited to get a jock villager since that's my least favorite personality in this game... or at least it was. Buck totally changed that ♥
I'm looking forward to my 2024 celebration - part of me hopes that these three are there again because it feels like old friends getting together, but I wouldn't mind if Stu hosted! He's newer to my island and I adore him. Plus his house has the most perfect lighting, haha.
