Who else actually likes Zipper?

To preface, please do not comment on this about how much you dislike him! This thread is for people who actually like him, so please don't waste a reply saying that you don't! Additionally, don't hold the egg spawning issue from NH against him! Don't blame him for what Nintendo got wrong! He didn't control the quantity of the eggs! Just the hiding of them!

Ok, so with this year's Halloween theme, I was wondering: am I the only one who actually likes Zipper? Like, I don't find him scary at all, or annoying! He's cute! Plus, I feel bad for him; he's so overworked and tired all the time! I wanna give him some water or Gatorade or something. Mascot work is tough!

I hope I'm not alone in actually liking him. It sure feels like it.

I like him. I haven't had the chance to experience bunny day on my island in NH or in NL, but when I visited a friend's island, I thought he was cute. I can see why some others may find him creepy or not like him though, but that doesn't change my opinion. Once I experience it on my island, we'll see (if I'm still playing NH) if my opinion changes. I think some of the pictures that I've seen posted of him in an avatar and signature are a bit creepy, but mostly due to the way the screenshot was cropped, how much it was zoomed in and the filter.

i love him and wanna hug him! he doesnt seem like he'd like hugs tho...seems like a very no touchy person. i wanna tell him hes doing a good job and to take a break hes so seem stressed sometimes. also remind him that he is loved cus he gets so much hate (which i get since his event makes everything eggs)

but all in all i really do like zipper! hes some of my fav colors (yellow and light blue), a bunny rabbit, and plays into my love of mascots (yes i have a fascination with them and animatronics). i will forever be curious whos under the costume or if it even is one since he can blink, but ive seen mascots that can before

I like his dancing in NL, but it does bothers me when he doesn't show his real self.

I actually thought he was a funny character in New Leaf. In that game it was kind of dark humor that he hated being in his bunny suit and you got the impression someone was making him do the whole happy bit, so it was surprising for the general tone of the game. But anyway, because of that I always felt sorry for the guy. It must be hard hiding all those eggs! While the Bunny Day furniture isn't my favorite, I don't dislike it or anything. I think he's cutely designed and I feel bad that he gets a lot of hate.

I don't hate him at all. I actually loved how he stopped hopping when you walked away from him lol. Made me laugh.

I like him because he's mysterious. So exciting, which character is underneath that costume? A new one? Or an old one? Is it a bunny in a bunny costume? So many options.

I like him! I'm pretty sure Phyllis is in that costume lol. Based on dialogue from ACNL. They just seem to mutter to themselves the same way! There honestly isn't a single NPC that I hate though..

I only make jokes about zipper in jest. I actually think he isn’t that bad a character, and there’s a few items of the bunny day set that I actually like! It just so happened that his event came right when most everyone was trying to get everything set up, which caused a major conflict of interest.

I like Zipper well enough. He's not my favorite NPC, but I think he's cute and I kind of feel bad for him. The first time I saw his dialogue about being forced to be so enthusiastic and cheerful all the time as part of his Bunny Day act, I felt like I really understood him and could commiserate. I'm not an energetic person and could never keep up with a job like that. He's just out there trying to make everybody happy.

To me, he's not inherently creepy, but I do find the jokes on TBT funny.

I honestly don’t even understand why people think he’s creepy to begin with. Like, cmon people, it’s just a bunny. Didn’t mean to be harsh to people who think he’s creepy.

He's actually one of my favorite NPCs, mainly because I like his weird behavior and the kinda creepy vibe his design has, although I have to admit Bunny Day isn't really my fave when it comes to the holidays. IMO, he doesn't deserve all the hate he gets.

I think he's funny! I like how he'd sigh whenever you'd walk away from him and stop hopping. It's rare, but I like it when AC has these dark moments and jokes with characters. Plus I don't have anything against mascots and clowns, so design-wise he doesn't bother me at all.
