I was putting my development on hold because I wanted to find all the villagers I wanted to move in! But I kept on getting ones I wasn't too interested in...

Do you think I should carry on my quest to find ones I really like? Or just let it happen naturally, I'm already getting Tom on my island and that was out of my control! :p

Tbh I just farm some tickets until I get a decent Smug. I’m not even trying out my luck too much, because I know the chances of getting certian Villagers are super slim. Like with 9 Tickets I spend I got 7 Villagers which I really didn’t want. And when you are out of tickets you have either take the last Villager you encounter or risk a random move in.

So until that one Villager on my Island moves out, I will keep farming tickets. I just have 11 now, so I keep it up until I get 30 -50 Tickets.

i have - i’ve only been able to find 4 villagers that i like (none of them are dreamies, though) and i’ve used 20+ tickets; luck really isn’t on my side, it seems lmao

Used 30 when I had an open lot. Figured i'd try my luck and it was pretty bad >.<'

I have used 32 looking for Sherb. I have two spaces left.....not going back until I have at least 50...make 100 lol. So it will be a while.

I spent a lot of tickets last night trying to find Cyd and I finally got him on my 60th ticket. I still have a lot of tickets to use. I know the chances are slim but I'm gonna try to see if I can find Raymond with them tonight.

I honestly didn't think I'd find Cyd so you never know. Every single ticket could end up being a villager you hate, or you could get your ultimate dreamie on your first island. Whether you want to take those chances or not is up to you!

I went on about 10 tours in total. I got rather lucky I must say.
I found Norma, Apple, Erik, Octavian, Wolfgang Boyd and.... SHERB on a hybrid island.
There were a few villagers I didn't care for in-between but, over all, the outcome was very good.
It was a bit stressful though. My heart would skip a beat each time the plane would land. lol...

the rng is so discouraging! I used 30 tickets and I saw chevre... 3 times! I just knew its best to stop.

I hit jackpot! I found Sherb on a hybrid island. I was actually looking for Zucker but Sherb is going to be my second lazy.
I had no idea how cute he actually was.

I simply don't have the patience. I've resorted to letting randos move in lol. I'll kick them out with my cards if need be later.

I've used quite a few! I found Audie, Sherb, and Judy though through island tours so I think I've had pretty good luck! I'm still on the hunt for Raymond but we will see.

I don't even HAVE the opportunity :c currently I am trying to get 6/10 villagers to move out, and the only ones wanting to move out are the 4 I am freaking trying to keep!!!

Yesterday I spent about 10 tickets, which isn't too bad. I got hideous villagers 9 times and on the last ticket I had prepared myself to give up and get a random move in. On my last ticket I got Maple and was so relieved :lemon:

I spent around 12k miles trying to find villagers I was happy with a few days ago .... then took a breath and realized some will move out eventually, maybe my friends will have the ones I like, etc. I didn't even care too much about villagers in City Folk so I don't know what's come over me.

The last two villager trips I got Margie and Maggie, and I'm really happy with those two, so I think relaxing about things is the best way for me to go [I don't have any amiibo].

I was prepared for a long night of searching last night but was pleasantly surprised to find Raymond on my 3rd trip of the night.

It's been okay for me, but I see way too many repeats. I've gotten Marina twice, Zucker, Sherb, Wolfgang.

I am going after Audie and Dobie with all that I have- and whatever cute snooty catches my mood. I've probably spent 25+ ish tickets so far? They've all been ones I've grinded for though so it's become a slow process.

I keep thinking I should save up for customization, which I just unlocked, but I have an empty 10th plot. So I'm desperately trying to fill it with someone I like lol!

My RNG is trash as well. Saw Tia twice in one night (same exact island layout too) and Marina twice but on different days. But I haven't done much island hopping compared to most people. I think I've only been to 30 in total so far, and only a couple of those had villagers on them. No hybrid island, no tarantula island on any of them either. I hate it lol.

Filling up villagers numbers 3-5 : I used 5 tickets and ended up getting 2 dreamies (Molly and Zucker) and 1 preferred villager that will stay for quite some time (Sprinkle).

Filling up villager number 7 : I used 10 tickets and ended up with a preferred villager I’m still debating whether I’ll let go of in the future or not (Whitney).

Filling up villager number 8 : I used 20 tickets and ended up with a dreamie (Audie).

Filling up villager number 9 : I used 9 tickets and ended up with a dreamie (Rudy).

Filling up villager number 10 : I used 21 tickets and ended up with a dreamie (Chief).

All in all used 65 tickets (about 130k Nook miles) in total and ended up with 5 dreamies and 2 preferred villagers. It’s a gamble, really. I suggest not going specifically for ONE specific villager at a time because you’d most likely blow through all your tickets without ending up with anyone. Just get a preferred villager or a dreamie as and when they appear, whichever comes first so you won’t waste your tickets. Your odds of completing them eventually will be higher that way. I’m playing the game normally and I’m hoping to be able to get Marshal and Maple eventually but there’s no rush. In the meantime, I’ll enjoy getting to know other villagers I haven’t gotten a chance to get to know yet. :)

I've spent like 100 tickets looking for Judy and Raymond, I keep finding villagers I like but have amiibo cards instead.
