I'm crazy for plants, especially succulents, and I am beginning to try other plants as well. I can't post pics right now, but I have:

Miniature roses, Kalanchoe, Begonia Rex, Pachyphytum Moonstones, Donkey Ears, Aloe Vera, Mammilaria Grahami, and a few I have yet to identify. I had some chives but they died after a while :(

I absolutely love plants and cannot even stop buying them, it's an addiction. I'm running out of surface space in front of the window! I'd love to post pics when I can. Anyone else have a plant addiction? Pics please!

I recently started growing a Venus Fly Trap :)

I don't so much like plants but I love fresh flowers everywhere!

i love plants!!! im starting off simple with succulents so they dont die right away if i forget some water, but im doing my very best to keep them healthy! i dont know what my succulent is, im still getting an id, but i know the basics that came form its tag.

when i have my own house im going to have a huge garden! lots of flowers, and lots of vegetables and herbs! maybe even a fruit tree or two (i would love to have a pear or apple tree)

I hope you take good care of your fly traps, mine always die! They're much too delicate for me right now, that's why I'm getting in better practice.

That sounds SOOO good. I would LOVE a green house or a sunroom when I have a home of my own. I'm gonna have so many darn house plants! :)

I love succulents and cacti. I had a few on my desk for awhile, but they didn’t like it when I changed offices. It doesn’t help that I have a bit of a black thumb when it comes to plants. :( Oh well, I’ll keep trying!

i love plants but I have 2 cats that would destroy them so I do not have any at the moment. But, I might try and get some veggie plants for my patio. Would give me a reason to use it.

i really am! i love plants a butt-ton. at my last count, i had 81 plants, and i've just run out of space on my shelves and windowsill, so i'm gradually filling up other little areas (sadly my desk is probably going to be next!) i don't like succulents and cacti very much- they're ever so difficult to keep, and i simply struggle to keep them alive through the very cold winter (my house has a central heating system which maxes out at 15?F, so they don't do very well).

my favourite kind of plant is the spider plant, of which i have ever so many- my first ever plant was a spider plant, called sparticus- he recently had a haircut and had all of his "babies" removed from him, so he's spruced up again- here he is in all of his glory.

I literally used to accidentally kill like every plant I owned. Now they only die on rare occasions, usually cuz of my cats. Just keep at it, succulents are the best of course. Just find a sunny window and water occasionally. :) I hope something works for you!

Try getting cat edibles. Cat grasses are usually sold at pet stores, my petco carries some. They look nice, and the keekees can snack on them, hopefully without mess.

I got lots of plants! I have plenty of indoor ones such as succulents, some cactus's, and trying to start some seeds from some vegetables I had. I actually recently lost my first little cactus that I gotten about 3 years ago(I'm trying to salvage a little piece of an arm he had with roots coming out of it).:( Outdoors during the spring and summer, I grow a huge garden and plant a ton of flowers in pots and in the ground. I can't wait for it to get warmer out so I can get to work on them :)

Yeah. Its not that I am worried about them eating it as I am with them knocking stuff over lol.

I worked in a green house one summer, that was a great job. I installed a brick walkway inside. I watered, fertilized, and trimmed the plants every day, and rang up customers and carried the plants out to their cars. It got super hot inside of the separate glass-covered area, like 120 degrees near the ceiling, which is where I had to set up all of the poinsetta plants and shrubs so that they would be ready for Christmas time.

my favorites that I took home from there, were Gerbera daisies, and chocolate soldier plants.

I'm probably on my way to looking like you if I don't stop buying. I love all of your spider plants! And your succs. I'd have a hard time not telling people that I had a ton of spiders at my house lol

Many years ago, I had over 120 house plants. ^_^

That's crazy!!! I would lose track, did it take you long to count them all, or did you keep a record? I bet the place looked like an indoor garden, not that that's a bad thing :p

I hate that I always pass on new pots because I think they're expensive, and I scavenge for pots at home, yet I spend so much on the amount of plants I buy lol. They're all so small and cheap but they add up. I should have purchased a pot by now.

Omg I'm dying for warm weather already. It is still snowing where I live and I'm so sick of it. Also, sorry for the loss. I don't even know how I'd feel if I lost a plant I'd had for several years. My one cactus is coming up on its first full year in my home. The others are all too new. I only just started raising plants the proper way last spring. I've never tried seeds for anything before, but I do have a cactus seed starter kit I'm saving, and I have a few props from my succs that are doing rather well. On their way to becoming a fully grown baby succulent. :D

That's unfortunate. My cats used to try and eat my chives, I have lost a few good succs to my cats though. Knocking them over, some beheaded and others just stressed to all hell. Maybe you should invest in a special shelf where the cats can't reach. I'm planning on getting something safer from Ikea some time.

I'm jealous! Not of the super hot conditions, but working with plants sounds super fun. Depdending on what you actually do I guess. I knew a guy who would dissect dying plants and take something from inside of them, something along the lines of a plant embryo I think, and they would salvage that for a new plant. Absolutely wild. Plant C-sections. Who would have guessed? I wish I still worked with him so I could ask, we were both employed at a restaurant seasonally, the plant job was his primary line of work.

I honestly REALLY HATE getting dirty too, I hate the way soil sticks to my hand and I don't wanna wipe it on my clothes but so gross. However, I very rarely actually deal with dirt. Occasionally I have to move a plant, but that's basically it. If worse comes to worse, just purchase an arrangement that you'll likely never have to do anything to, aside from watering. I love succulent arrangements, sometimes nurseries in department stores have really nice ones, but I don't wanna spend so much on it when I know I would do it myself anyways.

We had them on tables, the floor, window sills.
Everywhere! ^_^

right now i only one little succulent but when i move into a new apartment later this year i plan to fill it full of plants. i can’t wait!

Yasss, give in to the temptation, embrace the plants >:)

I dislike plants alot lmao & also flowers, they activate my allergies

I'm sorry to hear that, I love them so much and they make me happy, I wish you could also enjoy them. Is it the pollen? Maybe you could find houseplants that don't flower. I don't know a lot about plants but if it doesn't flower then I assume it can't create pollen to upset your allergies. :)
