Who else here is seriously into plants???

this happened to me till i got an infestation of fungus gnats xc

i still love plants and watching them grow but now i keep most of them outside

I?m not into plants, but my father is and has done it for a long time now. I have no idea what kind of plants he looks after though aside from an aloe Vera. Not only that but he also has the hands to do so. When it comes to me though, let?s just say the plants had a dreadful life.

I'm crazy for plants, especially succulents, and I am beginning to try other plants as well. I can't post pics right now, but I have:

Miniature roses, Kalanchoe, Begonia Rex, Pachyphytum Moonstones, Donkey Ears, Aloe Vera, Mammilaria Grahami, and a few I have yet to identify. I had some chives but they died after a while :(

I absolutely love plants and cannot even stop buying them, it's an addiction. I'm running out of surface space in front of the window! I'd love to post pics when I can. Anyone else have a plant addiction? Pics please!

ooh I love kalanchoe!
I have a garden FULL of plants because I just love the therapeutic feeling of gardening - which is why spring is probably my favourite month. I have a mini greenhouse full of all my succulent babies too haha

I'm so glad there are other avid gardeners here and people don't stereotype it as an 'old person' thing

Yes! Yes Yes! I live close to a homebase where they sell plants, they normally have them placed outside the store so every time I walk pass I have to stop and look. As much as I want to buy them, I can't because my room of the house doesn't get much sunlight; only during the evenings/sunset. I'll be best off with a couple of succulents to go on my shelves and by the window. I definitely want to spice up my room with some greenery though! All my other plants died once I moved but they lasted for quite a while. My mother grew an orchid few months back, lovely plant! I've thought about buying one but I'm worried it might pass on me.

Also, my housemate bought a cactus ages ago and she absolutely loves them. It's so worth investing in one of these too. Lol, I remember buying a pack of plastic ones from Ikea last year. They just aren't the same as the real deal

Romantically, yeah. I'm interested in plants. Whoever said they were interested in me though? </3

I have some cactus. 2 bigger ones in the same pot and one smaller one by itself I love them and they’re like my babies. :0

Herb plants (is that the right term for it?)
Like, basil, parsley. I use them sometimes too.

I really like plants and also have some, wish I could get some more, but I have barely space for more...

I don't grow a lot of plants myself but I have taken care of my friend's (ex-room mate) massive garden whenever I stay over. Can't say I enjoy it though. I rather have a few succulents or cacti around the house even though they aren't really useful or edible. I just don't like dealing with outdoor pests and bugs or overgrowing, like pandan plants and mexican mint. I mean mexican mint grows way too fast for what we actually use it for lol. At home I have one potted chilli plant though. Ironically the chilli's are too spicy for to eat myself but I think they're cute and I harvest them for my dad to eat with soy sauce XD

My family and I just planted another rose bush this year in the backyard, plus three last year and we've made sure that they were well taken care of. Funny enough though, when we first planted the first three rose bushes, all three of them grew in a different way. It was actually fun watching them grow like that. Unfortunately we don't have any more room for plants in out backyard, but my family and I were talking about trying to grow some tomatoes in planters if that counts. :)

When we were in Arizona, we had a lot more plants and bushes with flowers in our backyard too. Much more than we do now, but we still love our plants that we have now as well. ^-^

I'm getting into plants! I buy succulents and interesting looking cacti (I should post some pics) and put them in my window so it's sunny. I water them with rain water, or if we don't have any of that, stand still bottled water. I also like to have Tilsdlskegmrmg around my room. I wouldn't say I have a green thumb, but I'm not horrible at taking care of plants either.

I hope to one day! I currently do not have the supplies and space for it right now, but I am always finding out things and beneficial uses for one day one day. Aside from that, it is interesting to me!
