Who is a villager who you are surprised is not popular?

Miranda. Her design is very fitting for her personality, and the magenta color scheme just completes the look. Unfortunately, she is probably the least popular duck, and least popular snooty.

Mint! I'm surprised she's not more popular. She's adorable! Her face is cute, her colour scheme is cute, and her name is cute. What's up with that lol

Stella, shes one of my absolute favourites, she's so purple and just matches cute flowery islands so well, such a shame that shes a tier 5

I've always been surprised that Knox and Sterling aren't more popular. I know they're not necessarily cute, but they're knights! No old-fashioned fairytale island is complete without a knight or two. Put them together and they have great potential for lore if that's your thing.

I think Hamlet would be more popular if he wasn't a jock. But I think it's part of his charm. Tiny little hamster with a toy room, what does he love more than anything? His abs.

Not a specific villager, but I'm always surprised that so many people seem to loathe all of the kangaroos. I think they have a really nice model, and many of them have approachable designs like Carrie and Kitt.

Yeah. Miranda's awesome! Dare I say quackulous! Probably not the least popular duck though (that title probably goes to Gloria, which is a shame because I really like Gloria) or the least popular snooty villager.

Gayle! She is sooo cute! Her pink colour is so pretty, and it surprises me she is not considered one of the best normal villagers!

Ikr? I think the kangaroos are cute! The female ones dont get much love because of their baby, while i do think they were executed in a weird manner i still think its adorable having a mom villager.

Egbert is one that I can think of right now.
He is a lazy yellow chicken with a nice name and is super cute. His catch phrase is doodle-duh.
I hear a lot of people not liking him for some reason. Idk why.

i still think i could see renée being right up there in terms of popularity with merengue. it's probably just me, but i've always kinda seen her as a pair with merengue. the pinkish purple part on top of renée's head makes me think of syrup or candy and totally fits the food motif that merengue has going on. and i'm just gonna say it to say it but puck should be tier 1 on any villager popularity list

oh for sure many of the lions and the sheep and frogs, oh my! these are animal species that are pretty typically cartoon-ified into approachable, sweet creatures with a lot of general audience appeal and animal crossing is no different.

i especially think people are missing out on stella as listed above (i much agree!) who is adorable with those lil blushes. and lily or henry who both have such classic, cute looks. i always expected them to appeal to more people! the lions (and tigers) in general have confused me with their lack of popularity bc i would say typically big cats are huge crowd favorites. maybe people think their designs aren't very streamlined? not sure. i think aziz and bangle are my favorites of those.

I dont hear enough love for Diva, Violet or Bangle.

Diva attracted me just by her name, shes also avoids me when I do villager hunts, but shes a literally queen?

Ive never had Violet but she looks really cool, Ive had Boone before and i generally liked him, he was really sweet. Had him in New Leaf.

Probably not many tigers is why they arent propular but Bangle is an absolute fav of mine. I dont have her on my island at he mokent but when I did she gave me a new dress i never aaw before and it was gorgeous.

I am geniunely surprised that Stu, Norma, Angus, Tipper, Doc, Patty, and some of the others aren't more popular...

But I do understand the unpopularity of T-Bone, Coach, and Vic, however.

The villagers that I'm genuinely surprised that they're not popular are Kid Cat, Megan, Cephalobot, Marlo, and Bill.

Megan is too cute to be an unpopular villager and Bill has this cute simplicity like Roald. I'm also surprised that Peanut the squirrel isn't that popular especially her frequent appearances in Animal Crossing box art and other merch.

Yep, Peanut surprisingly isn't that popular among larger scope of the Animal Crossing community and Megan is basically overshadowed by Judy, Audie, and Raymond during ACNH's reveal until the release.

I don’t think that Daisy is very popular, even though she seems like she would be.

Kind of unrelated, but I checked a villager popularity tier list and was EXTREMELY hurt when I saw Hugh in the lowest tier. This is just an unforgivable act.
