Who is the best Alligator villager and why? 🐊

The alligators are a cool species, but my favorite is Gayle. Shes cute, sweet and has a nice catchphrase.

Del's my personal favorite! I love his colors, his robot design, and his grumpy personality! I also like his warehouse-styled house. He's such a sweetie-pie on my island and honestly has grown to be one of my favorite villagers!

There are three alligator villagers I like:

Gayle because her design is lovely and pink is one of my favorite colors.

Drago because of his resemblance of a dragon.

Alfonso because of Animal Crossing Movie and his catchphrase is a Mario reference.

i've loved him since the movie and he was in my NL town for a while, i was so sad when he moved but my cousin gave me his amiibo a few months ago so i could get him back

I'm not a massive fan of the alligators but I picked Gayle as I think she has a pretty colour scheme, really like the added heart in her design, and I like her house interior as it seems very cosy, plus she shares a birthday with my mum so bonus points for that. A close second would be Drago as he has a cool and feels more unique compared to the other alligators.

Drago! Had him in NL, loved him there. He's a dragon, that's all. Plus he shares a birthday with someone I know, so that's a plus.

Del would probably be second best, love a grumpy robo gator and his colour scheme is pleasing to me.

I suppose Drago or Sly.
A dragon who likes to eat is just plain cute and he is green!! Sly, I think he looks good. Nice color pallet and eye design. I hope to come across both eventually as well as Del.

I've never had an alligator villager, so I voted just based on looks. Drago is my top choice because he's a dragon, but Del is a close second because I love his color scheme and the cranky personality.

Although I like Del and Drago, Alfonso will always be my favorite alligator villager. I love his sweet little lazy expression and Mario catchphrase. It was even better in New Leaf when his default shirt was the Mario shirt, but at least he can wear the Mario shirt now in New Horizons, too.

I had him in my first New Leaf town for the longest time, and he was my little sweetheart. Broccolo was the mischievous lazy villager in my town, while Alfonso was a little more guileless and innocent. He was always getting bullied by the other villagers for being lazy and loving food, and I wanted to protect him and tell him that there's nothing wrong with either of those things! He moved out right under my nose one day, and I was so devastated. I'll always have a spot in my heart for that little dumpling.

Well I'm biased since Drago is the only gator I've had on my island. But the pink one is cute too!

My unpopular alligator opinion is that Gayle absolutely sucks. I find her really creepy + she absolutely destroyed my town aesthetic in New Leaf. It's purely a personal grudge, but I'm not a fan of her!
