Who is your favorite lazy villager?

Hard to choose between Sherb, Sasha, and Bob. There's also Anchovy, the first lazy villager I ever met and am also attached to. Just a few days ago I was checking on my original New Leaf town and had to tell him not to move away, coincidentally!

Benjamin!

Benjamin is my absolute favorite lazy villager. He's a lazy dog, yellow, and super fun to have around. He's pretty chill, and if I gift him an outfit, he seems to wear it forever, whatever it is. I've put us in matching mermaid outfits, and he just thinks it's awesome.

He's pretty good at frustrating the cranky villagers, which is hilarious sometimes. Overall- a great lazy villager to have.

Cranston! I think the ostrichs are my favorite species, and he's just so goofy. He was one of my original villagers in New Leaf, and I became so fond of him I had to have him in New Horizons as well, though he seems to have developed a peculiar fixation on bugs upon moving to the island. 🫠

Runner-ups would be Joey and Elmer, who were residents of my original Gamecube town and seem to enjoy popping up in other games. They'll always have a special place in my heart!

I have Stu on one of my islands, and he's very cute and sweet! There are a lot of cute lazy villagers I haven't had on my island (e.g. Erik, Hugh), but I also met Boomer the other day, and he was quite sweet. There are currently no lazy tiger villagers, so I'd love to see one of those! 🐯

My all time favorites have to be these two, from my New Leaf town:

If we ever get more brand-new villagers, I'll always be holding out impossible hope for a lazy anteater. They're obsessed with bugs! It would be LESS weird.

My sweet little bunny Cole... I think he was the first bunny I ever had? I had him in my first town, and I have loved him ever since.

Now, I have him in my New Horizons island, and I will always have him in every subsequent game afterwards! He's so cuteeee!

Sherb is my favorite! I know they all talk about bugs and snacks, but something about his face makes me love him when he talks about those things! So happy!

I love a lot of the lazy villagers, but my absolute favourite is Beau! He’s been one of my favourites and so special to me ever since before New Leaf came out in NA. Deers are my favourite animal, so I was super excited when I found out that deer villagers would be introduced in New Leaf! I spent the first half of 2013 eagerly looking at the list of villagers in New Leaf, planning out my dreamies list over and over again. I loved all of the deer villagers when I first saw them, but Beau instantly became my #1 favourite villager. I finally got to have him when he randomly moved into my second New Leaf town, and I can’t begin to tell you how incredible that was to younger me. To walk into his house wondering who my new neighbour is, and see him standing there. I was over the moon. 🥹

Beau isn’t my #1 favourite anymore, but he’s still my favourite lazy villager, and will forever be so incredibly special to me. My dearest Animal Crossing friend for life pun intended. I’m so happy to have him in New Horizons, and plan on having him in every future AC game I play if I can as well. My town/island/wherever my character lives next wouldn’t be the same without him. 🧡

My other favourites are Chabwick, Lucky, Moe, Marty and Zucker! And Bow my beloved,,, I miss he

My favorite lazy villager is Doc. He's funny, sweet, and adorable!

He's an old favorite from the New Leaf days, I've had him since the beginning, as he was one of the starting villagers there.

Others: Rodeo, Stu, Cole, Sasha, Claude, Hopkins, Walker, Filbert, and Broccolo

My favourite lazy islander is Sasha!!!!

He is so cute and one of my newest islanders I always love checking up on him.

While I don't particularly like the Lazy personality compared to the other villager personalities, there are a bunch of Lazies who I like due to their designs.

My favorite Lazy villager is definitely Lucky. His mummy design and the glowing yellow eye are just too cool and I've been fond of him since I first saw him in the guidebook for the GameCube game years ago. He's been living in my main New Leaf town for years now.

My other favorite Lazy villagers are Boomer, Drago, Marcel, Raddle, Stitches, and Tucker.

- Penguins are one of my favorite types of birds alongside crows and ravens, so I've always been fond of Boomer and his aviator design since I first saw him in the guidebook for the GameCube game; I haven't had him as a resident in a game yet but hope to at some point.

- While Marcel's English namesake is actually from French mime Marcel Marceau and his face paint is supposedly more inspired by a Japanese festival mask, when I first saw Marcel my brain saw clown. I like clown aesthetics and enjoy Pietro and (the unfortunately lost to time) Pierre, so I'd be up for more clown villagers. Marcel's close enough, so he gets the nod. He's a resident of a circus/magic show New Leaf town.

- I've never been too fond of the kiddy interior designs of Stitches' homes in the games, however fitting it might be to his toy concept, but I nevertheless love his colorful patchwork design and sewn-x eyes and have had him as a resident of my main New Leaf town for years now too.

- I appreciate villagers having little accessories that set them apart from the rest, so I like Raddle's doctor design with the mask. He's a resident of another of my New Leaf towns.

- Along the same line as above where I mentioned that I like accessories, I like it even better when a villager has a wholly unique design, so I absolutely love Drago's dragon design and Tucker's woolly mammoth design complete with tusks. I have Drago in the aforementioned circus/magic show New Leaf town, and Tucker as a resident of my New Horizons island.

Big Top, Clay, Cranston, Erik and Rodeo are neat too but they're like a tier lower than the others listed. Finally, I'll also mention Claude because he's nostalgic from the GameCube game and reminds me of an old friend; the same friend who introduced me to the series back in 2002.
