Who thinks this game is too much

Without Help finding items or someone to check with can be too much if you are a bit hyper. The game can be both not too much and too much at the same time. It just how you feeling and what you are after. I Just lucky i got help on this site to make the Time Event task easy on my brain to deal with.

im not going to say its too much but i Will say this...my nooks wouldnt give me a darned thing for months! i came here and found someone that was willing to help me out and they did enormously! that being said, i found it really frustrating before i found that persons help to find items. i had to buy the online subscription to get ANY decent furniture and items, and even then only from that person and i had to buy them on nookazon. this game is very unforgiving if you dont cough up the cash!

First it was not enough. Now it’s too much. Where’s my Just Right Goldilocks at
This is what I was thinking when I posted ... Before the update, people were whinging about the apparent lack of content and updates ... Now we've gotten the ultimate update and tonnes of content, and suddenly it's too much ... Is there any pleasing some people?

I am happy with the amount of content in the game. I'd be happy if there were even more content. I'm not sure that I'd complain about there being too much content in a game that cost $90 after tax in Canada plus $33 for the DLC. The more stuff, the better!

I mean, I actually haven't done a single one of the new features, I kust have too much to do already decorating wise. I did use the camera, and cook.

Do I think there is too much? Not for a new player, if anything all the new features might draw people on more. Since you can do more on a daily basis, so it opened possibilites of having far more then before.

Now I think people who have been playing it for awhile might be a bit more over whelmed. Thats just because some of us have daily routines, and then having to add in new content makes it a bit over whelming.
My routine stacks into zillians of material runs, decorating and gifting cherries, so not so much for me. But for others who have more complex sceduals then yeah, its over whelming adding in more to your daily routine.

Just my opinion, my friend had a really big routine each day.

I think the amount of content is just fine. If it seems overwhelming, it might be time to ask yourself how much you are doing because you enjoy it and how much you're doing because you think you "should be" doing it, like gifting stuff to villagers you don't actually care about so you can get their photos, micromanaging villager interiors, "maximizing" your trips to Kapp'n islands by gathering resources you don't need, etc. I figure that the island is literally my playground to shape as I see fit and it isn't going anywhere so I just...slow down and enjoy it.

Yeah I second this. Just do the parts you like doing and don't bother with anything you don't need to do. I'm doing more than usual in daily tasks simply to get more bells and miles for plans I have, but I've only done cooking a couple of times because it's basically crafting, which is the element of NH I've not particularly enjoyed.

Exactly. Nothing is really required so focus on what you enjoy. I am also not doing a lot of cooking because I don't decorate with food and I have very little creative energy for arranging gardening plots at the moment. It is enough to know that those elements will be there for me when I'm ready.

Too much? Nah...I like variety, so the more the merrier. It just gives more choice on what to do. Truthfully, there's stuff that, I think, they're still missing. Mainly and emotion/attitude upgrade for the villagers to make them more interesting and not just aesthetic and mini games for both solo and multiplayer play.

Yup, people will always complain no matter what, sadly thats just how it is.
For me the HUGE amount of content they added was overwhelming because I feel so behind, but I'm not complaining either. I just need to remind myself this is the biggest update yet and there won't be one like it for awhile, or ever, so I can play slowly.
But I see what you're saying, people complain about the other updates saying they're underwhelming and now all we hear is its overwhelming lol. We just need to stop trying to speed run it! that's not how animal crossing is made to play.

Is there a 'just right' option? Because it seems like before, people didn't like the lack of gameplay, they give us almost everything people have been asking for in the last update and even a DLC, and now it's too much?

It's either too much, or not enough. I don't get it.

Answering the question people have of "Is there any pleasing some people?" the answer to that is no. As someone who works in the food service industry. There is no pleasing everyone, no matter what you do. There is going to always be SOMEONE who is unhappy even if you go above and beyond. Nintendo went above and beyond with the last update and as you can see, there is still people who are finding things to complain about.

I don’t think the game is too much. Does anybody? Nobody—including OP—has actually stated that they find the game too much. So let’s stay calm before saying that there’s no pleasing people, when there hasn’t even been a concrete complaint yet.

That's actually true. The OP didn't actually say it was too much. So I'm actually questioning the point of this thread if it's not a thread to complain about how this game is too much when before it was not enough. So it's not all that that surprising that we are wondering if there is no pleasing people. And we already have a complaint thread.

The OP just joined today so we shouldn't be too hard on them.

….could you clarify?

Im happy more NPCs are present again and that there’s more to do now. At least it feels more like AC now.

I feel like OP joined just to troll, but I'll answer regardless.

I don't think it's too much in general, though the terraforming makes it feel like a lot of pressure sometimes. Item wise, I feel like honestly there could never be too much really, because the more items means the more originality in the themes people can create.

I doubt you'll come back to clarify exactly what you mean but yeah.
