Mine was Kidd, he wanted me to design a beautiful photography studio. It's still in the process of being made.

Clay, mostly because I felt compelled to give him chocolates because he's a lazy villager lol

Ione by accident. 😭 I didn't know what the chocolates did and when we got to the island I had no clue what to do so I just left her. 😭😭😭 I just thought they were cute gifts.

Wait. What do they do? Please tell me that I didnt just send Kidd away to the vacation islands permanently...

The chocolates? If you give them as a gift you invite them to the archipelago. She's still in my town so nothing happened from me leaving lol.

Thank god, cause I dont know what I would do without Kidd on my island o_O

I gave it to Vesta on a whim when I saw her out walking around. It was so cute to see how happy she was to be visiting so I decided to put my work uniform back on and see if she wanted me to make her a vacation home. I was so excited! She, no big spoilers, had a very cute concept for her home and I enjoyed making it. 😄

My first was Dom! He's my absolute favorite villager and I was super excited to make him a vacation home, even if his concept is...a strange one, lol.

I am going back to it now to fix it up now that I've unlocked some new functions, since I brought him over so early that I couldn't do much other than basic decorating.

I gave my first box to Aurora and then one to Petri. It’s a nice yet pointless little feature!

Raymond! ♥

I did not know that giving the souvenir chocolates would give the villager a chance to follow you to work. I'd bought the chocolates thinking I'd share them with all my islanders since I like giving them stuff regularly. When Raymond asked, I couldn't say no because I was surprised and curious. I think this is a very nice feature. I'm glad I wasn't spoiled before it happened. I'm playing the game on a day-to-day basis because I want to enjoy the experience of self-discovery. So much to look forward to!

Filbert! He wanted a Driver's Ed. training place. I figure it's better to have him messing with vehicles somewhere other than our island!

I feel like I will invite Rudy first, but I am waiting until I get more done so more options are available than the beginning options.

Francine. I try to give my villagers a gift each day, even if it's just fruit and Francine just happened to be the first one I encountered to give the chocolates to. She asked for a classy fashion designer theme.

Ruby, she have been my favourite villager ever since I met her in Wild World, and she have been with me ever since, so of course she were first in line to get a vacation home.

I invited Ankha. I didn't realize a single souvenir chocolate would count as an invite. I thought we'd have to gift them a few over the course of a few days, sorta like how we have to invite the amiibos to the campsite 3 times to finally get them to agree to move to our island.

I invited Caroline. Her request was not what I expected, but it was fun to make.

I wanted to give one to either Eugene, Raddle, Mira or Cashmere as I thought it would unlock the ability to redesign villager's houses, and I chose Cashmere.

Wasn't a bad choice as she wanted a private beach, so I gave her one, but it's incomplete for now as I wanted to earn more items.

If you give them the chocolates, do they eat them or display them in their house? I'd like to invite some villagers to make vacation homes without giving them anything they would display in their regular home.

The chocolates are used to invite your villagers to the resort island. You can then make them a house there.

Poppy is moving from my second island so I gave her a chocolate. This way I can still go see her.
