Who was your favourite character who debuted in NH?

Since five years has gone bye-bye, who are your favourite special characters who debuted in NH? (This poll is focused on the special characters, but you can also mention villagers)

To me Daisy Mae is rather cute, so is Niko. But I think Wilbur and Orville being dodos are rather interesting

Oh wow, I can't believe it's been five years since NH released. By far, my favorites are the dodo brothers.

I really like the dodo brothers. They're so cute and well designed. Their dialogue is a tad long but I still love them.

My favorite special character that was introduced in New Horizons has to be Wardell! I think he’s really cute and I like his personality in the game! I think all the special characters are pretty great though!

My first thought when I saw the thread title was definitely Flick, but on second thought Daisy Mae is probably my favorite.. she's just too cute! From her design to her voice to her dialogue, I just love her!

I have to agree on Daisy Mae! She’s adorable, but I want to give her a tissue every time I see her lol.

Honestly I don’t think I can choose between any of them. They all are different characters and I love them for different reasons.

Flick. And its no contest. I loved Flick the moment he was revealed. Flick's art is amazing and I love how he gets passionate over his works. It still makes me smile whenever he gets really passionate over rare insects, like the banded dragonfly. I also prefer his Bug Offs too and the prizes associated with the Bug Offs. It is sad to see that no one has voted for CJ though. I think many don't like his "influencer" role but if I could vote for second place I would vote for him.

Of these special characters listed, I think my favorite is Flick. I like his design and that he can create insect models for you. I kind of miss Nat, but Flick is cool.

Wilbur is probably my second favorite. I like his aviator sunglasses and his dialogue.

Wardell is also good.

On the flipside, my least favorite is Orville. Orville is annoyingly verbose and you have to cycle through so much dialogue when you want to fly somewhere. Heaven help you if there are multiple players headed to the same island and you have to keep going through the dialogue until you're successfully able to fly to your destination.

Ooh, that's a difficult one! I think it would go in this order: CJ - He's just sooo cute! Wardell - I loved when I saw him swimming on HHP. Then, the Dodo brothers! I think Wilbur looks slightly cooler than Orville!

Villiager wise,

Sasha number one, love my mint bunny. Then Raymond, Sherb, and Toby. As I have them all on my island lol

Despite their repetitive dialogue, my favorite special characters would have to be Wilbur and Orville. The concept of Dodos operating an airline company and basing their motto off getting around their physical limitation is pretty clever.

In terms of villagers, I'm just gonna go ahead and mention Quinn. In my opinion, she's the most criminally underrated of those introduced in the game, being overshadowed by the immense popularity of Raymond, Audie and Sasha. While I actually like those villagers as well, Quinn doesn't get her fair share of love and I really wouldn't mind having her in my town.

I'm honestly not too crazy on most of the new special characters from NH. I voted for Niko because I like his design and found him pretty fun/pleasant to be around in HHP. I was debating on the Dodo Brothers and but I think Orville's yapping sort of ruined them for me, and I'm a little biased on Porter and prefer the town + train aesthetic to an island + plane/airport aesthetic.
