Even if we have a huge poll sampling on what days are the best days of the week and the worst days of the week, not too many people will say Saturday is the worst day of the week (especially kids since they are in school). Now if we have a best day of the week poll, the opposite is nearly true. Saturday is the most popular day of the week.
I, on the other hand, am not with the rest. Saturday is the worst day of the week. At first, when I was younger, I liked going to school more. But as I got older, I started hating school, so I would like the weekends more. But after my graduation from high school, I'm starting to get more tolerable of the weekdays while getting less tolerable of the weekends. You may have to go to school or work five days a week, every week, and have some vacations, but imagine if you can have all five days off, meaning that you're free for the week. As I'm a part-time college student who either takes one class a day or only has classes on select days of the week, I virtually have no busy days. With a lot more free time, I could go out to eat or go shopping. If you have this more often, you will start liking the weekdays more than the weekends. Not because of how short the weekends are. It's more about how busy the public is.
Yep, that's Saturday, the worst day of the week. Sundays are just as bad (or almost as bad) as Saturdays. Sure it may sound like a joke to say Saturday is the worst day of the week, but I'm pretty serious.
Here are the reasons why I think Saturday is the worst day of the week:

Here are the reasons why I think Saturday is the worst day of the week:
- #1 - The Crowds: While Monday is the worst day of the week for the reason that you have to go back to work and wait a while before you can have a break, Saturday is the worst day because if you like to go out, you better expect more crowds. Wanna go to Disneyland or Disney World? Saturdays are gonna make your days miserable. Are you feeling lucky and want to gamble? Casinos are busier on Saturdays (at least in my experience). Need to go shopping? If you don't come in early enough, shops are crazier on Saturdays, as well as restaurants, malls, and museums (save for field trips). You see, I am very sensitive to crowds, and I want to get out as soon as possible. And it's not just crowds. The kids are annoying. Crying babies may ruin my experience, and what's worse are screaming kids. Even if you can tolerate the crowds, you won't like it as much. For stuff like amusement parks and restaurants, more crowds mean longer waiting times. For stuff like zoos and shops, crowds would make it harder to see everything, as you would not want to stay in for long. All of this is true about crowds no matter what day of the week it is, what time of the day it is, or what time of the year it is. You just see more crowds on Saturdays.
- #2 - Rude People: In addition to the crowds, you'll deal with a lot more rude people. This reason doesn't necessarily apply to you if you are the customer. But if you're a worker at a retailer, restaurant, or whatever, you'll be seeing a lot more people. The more people you see, the more likely you'll encounter rude customers. You're also more likely to see more rude customers than just one. And you're more likely to see them on Saturdays or Sundays.
- #3 - Almost No Holidays: If you look out throughout the entire year, you can see that Saturdays are less busy with holidays and events. Unless if Halloween, 4th of July, Valentine's Day, or Christmas lands on a Saturday, you could hardly see any holidays or events on Saturdays. This is especially true when it's a leap year beginning on a Friday. It would be nice if your birthday was on a Saturday (my last Saturday birthday was in 2016), but there's almost nothing on Saturdays. Sundays include Easter, Daylight Savings switch dates, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Grandparents Day. Mondays include stuff like Labor Day and President's Day. There's also Fat Tuesday on Tuesday, Ash Wednesday on Wednesday, Thanksgiving on Thursday (United States), and Black Friday on Friday. What does Saturday have? Nothing really. The only holidays that land on Saturdays are fixed date holidays, which occassionally occur on Saturdays. But in 2016, the only real holidays on Saturday were Christmas Eve and New Years Eve (both of them being really late in the year).
