Ogres Are Like Onions
I'm with everyone else. Turnips for me have been my biggest source of income (I have about 50mil right now). I make about 10mil a week with turnips. I do spend a lot of it though buying dreamies for other people :3 I give away my villagers. I gave Marshal away for free because I didn't need the bells so didn't really see the point in selling him.
Back in the day when this first came out, I used to make about 500K a night beetle hunting. Go to the island dead on 7pm, only catch horned Hercules and golden stags in bugs, and only catch whale sharks and sharks, fill up the entire basket, go back and sell with the night owl ordinance in effect, then go back to the island and do it all over again. On a good night I made about 900K but it was always at least 500k
