So... All i have to do is PLUG it into our computer then go to setting in wii and click?

What do i have to click if i have "Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector"

Beware, it won't work with 64-bit Windows 7. So don't bother buying it if you use that operating system.

I don't know if my computer has 64-bit. I use Windows 7.

To see if your Win7 is 32 or 64 bit, click the Start button (lower-left corner), and then right-click Computer. Click "properties" and then look for where it says system type.

Officially, it doesn't support Windows 7 at all. I've heard some people got it to work with 32-bit Win7, but I know it won't work with 64-bit Win7. If you can buy it from somewhere that will take it back if it doesn't work, that would be best. But if yours is 64-bit, I wouldn't even bother.

haha I'm gonna get one soon too, apparently they discontinued them. It's supposed to mimic or act like a router, and everyone is right, it doesn't work with Windows 7.

If you don't/can't use a wireless router, you could use a Wii LAN adapter. I use one similar to this one: http://raak.it/cH. But your computer and Wii need to be fairly close to each other if you're using a wired connection like this.

What to look for:

802.11G/ 802.11B (or mixed)
Most routers currently sold offer these settings. Check the box to make sure the router supports these broadcast standards. Routers that mention 802.11N or pre-N (as well MIMO) may not be compatible with the Wii.
WEP and WPA/WPA2 encryption
The Wii is compatible with WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption methods if you wish to enable wireless security on your router.
There are several different WPA variations. The Wii is compatible with:

WPA - PSK (TKIP)
WPA - PSK (AES)
WPA2 - PSK (AES)

I just read the manual and it says "If you already own a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector, but don't have a wireless network, you can still set up a wireless connection for your Wii. If you have a PC running Windows XP or Windows Vista directly connected to your
broadband (whatever it is) internet access, you can use the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector in a open USB portr on the PC. Once you install the software that's included with the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector, wirelessly connecting your Wii is easy."

Oh, you said you use Windows 7 before...

Broadband basically means not dial-up. If your internet is cable or DSL, then it's broadband. And if you use Windows XP, then the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector you mentioned in your first post should work.
