WiiWare > VC

"...today's total lack of VC content was intended only to draw attention to the inaugural WiiWare offerings."

If you like paying for Flash games that may or may not use IR functionality, then sure. WiiWare > Virtual Console.

I can very easily see that only after a month that the service is up, WiiWare will be flooded with Ninjabreadman 2, Luxor 3, Extreme Solitaire, some Bowling game, and whatever Data Design Interactive and Midway can crap out in the fastest and cost-efficient way.

Take a look at Xbox Live Arcade. That's got a ton of crap... and it's inevitable for WiiWare, too.

They're appealing to small developers with a limited budget. Ideas prevail over budget, yeah, but if you don't have enough money to support your idea...

Well, Japan is getting 17 VC games for next month, so at least they don't have to worry about a VC drought. We, on the other hand...
