I have a Switch Lite. I was going to buy the cartridge but I am considering the download now. If I download it to the Lite, wil I need more memory? I probably would not play ,any other games. Also, if I do not buy additional memory now, will I be able to add it later on without affecting the game?

i think downloading games digitally usually require more space and storage rather than having the cartridge itself. you'll just need space for the additional updates as you normally would of course, even if you got it digitally.

I am now thinking that a Switch Lite would have enough memory for the download and updates. If I understand correctly, then the Lite has 32 GB and the games takes around 6 GB. But if I wanted to add perhaps a Yoshi game or a puzzle game and needed more memory could it be added later without affecting the NH game in progress?

Yep, you're correct. All you need to do to add an SD card is fully turn your system off and then insert the card.
