Once the Able Sisters opens I will go through the available clothes everyday, until I find Clothes and Accessories I like a lot.
I'm also glad that apparently there is no maximum for Clothing Storage, no more getting rid of things or running out of space.
I probably won't be changing my outfit too often; I'll probably just change into new clothes when I come across something I like and stay in it until something else comes along. I'll most likely do something similar to MiniPocketWorld and change for the seasons as well.
Yes, including pajamas at night time, lol. With the addition of mannequins in New Leaf it was even easier to swap clothes daily. My favorite combination was the badge hat and vegetarian shirt.
Now we can hang clothes on the wall in seemingly stackable fashion. We could make walk-in closets!! Can't wait to try out all the new clothes!!
One thing I found a bit tedious in New Leaf was switching out outfits in storage, remembering how they looked and seeing if they fit the other pieces I'd selected. Because of this, I ended up just sticking to my signature look (my avatar). I did have a mannequin I'd change between if I felt like switching things up, but that was also kinda tedious.
New Horizons not only shows you what the outfits will look like in your inventory, but also there's the wand thingy to quick-swap. Instead of one signature look, I feel like I'm gonna have at least eight now.
So many of the clothes look good, and it seems so easy to change--I used to stick to the same thing constantly in NL, but I think I'll be switching more now!
I change pretty often and have a few sets of clothing I like. It's either seasonal or event themed if friends come over etc.. fishing gear, explorer, formal, picnic etc.
Yes! I intend to explore each detail of hard work in the game and since clothes actually move like clothes, I'd love to see how each piece moves as intended! I cannot wait to play fancy dress haha ୧꒰*?꒳`*꒱૭✧︎
I changed my outfit often at the beginning of New Leaf because there were so many cute pro designs being made on a daily basis. But after a while I just stopped caring left my mayor with the same outfit for months, sometimes even years at a time. I imagine something similar will happen with me and New Horizons.
heck yes, I change multiple times a day when starting a new game with this feature.
however I will say that in my new leaf town, since that town is "finished" I now stay in my "perfect/preferred" outfit that I saved with my dream address. the only time I would change would be to update that outfit for my dream address.
in new horizons i think i'll have a perfect outfit, or at least an ideal theme of clothing that i'd follow. i've never really been the person to change my character's clothing a lot, and yes i didn't really care about my character shivering during the winter.
I certainly will : D I am adding myself to my Island this time and fashion is definitely one of my favorite points, i'll be mixing and matching all variants of design to enjoy my experience as much as I can : )
I have dedicated outfits I like to associate with individual characters, but I am definitely fond of changing the clothes around a lot. I find myself wanting to have the characters change clothes daily to keep things fresh, and I also tend to keep to seasonally appropriate things, like short/no sleeves in the Summer so the character isn't uncomfortable.
It's to the point where in New Leaf, at one point, I decided that I had too many clothes filling up my storage space and that I could just re-order them from the Nooklings, so I sold everything that was re-orderable from the catalogue to make room for other items. This worked for a time, but then at some point my storage spaces ended up with a sizable collection of clothing again. I expect that sort of situation will happen again in New Horizons.
i only ever used qr clothes in new leaf, but i think this time round i'm going to use a lot of the cool new regular clothing too, like the beret, the cute skirts and dresses, and those little bags shaped like stars or acorns etc.
Once I got the clothes I wanted, I stopped changing clothes. I've seen some pretty cool clothes like the Hakama. In New Leaf, my character wore pajamas all the time.
