First of all: As long as Animal Crossing remains an offline game, it will always be possible to time travel.

Now that that's out of the way, I will not be TT'ing. At least not during the first year.

I TT because otherwise I only see my town in the dark. I don't jump seasons or anything because I don't find that fun personally. I would just like to be able to /play/ all the parts of the game I bought [including events].

No. I don't time travel unless I have literally no other choice, such as being away on a holiday and being unable to play.

Yes. All the time, I do it now. It’s easier to play at nighttime for me, and also, I just like time traveling. I like to be able to trade for villager and items, and that’s not always an option without time traveling. I also like refurbishing and not have to wait the time, or remodeling and not have to wait the time.

I might. I probably will try not to at first (like I did in NL, but that didn?t last long) but I also work weird hours and if anything I?ll probably be going back in time instead of forward. I?d rather take two days to play one game day instead of skipping time ahead.

I time traveled a lot in New Leaf to get tasks like getting my house upgraded instantly instead of waiting until the next day. I think if I stop time traveling completely, I will feel more rewarded. So I won't time travel in New Horizons.

I'm gonna say this again just like other threads with the same kind of topic, Time Traveling isn't an option for me

If possible, I’m interested in setting the clock six or seven hours behind my time zone to make my play style mesh better with the game. I usually play ACNL before bed, usually around 12-2 am, and I’ve had a lot of luck with this particular shift in my current town.

I also plan on turning the clock back to do events/holidays I’ve missed. For example, I host a Christmas Eve party that runs late, and I’m exhausted afterwards, so I have trouble doing the Jingle event in real time in most cases. Changing the clock allows me to enjoy that event in ACNL a couple of days later. The same goes for a bunch of other holidays.

I’m not interested in jumping ahead of the current time/date. I like to let the seasons unfold at their natural pace, with small adjustments to help the game better fit life’s demands.

I try not to TT if possible. I did this with all the other ACs because I got bored and wanted more things to do. But you never know maybe I will :) of course I will TT if I miss festivals like christmas or new year because of RL things.

I kinda want to just play casually and have stuff to look forward to with each day :) But on new leaf I always had my clock set much earlier because I played late at night most of the time and the shops would close,,, so I guess for time traveling I would just do it to change the time but not the day lol :>

Maybe.
I want to play daily and not time travel, at least for a while. I might occasionally “time travel” if I miss a day or have other commitments that take me away from the game. But maybe not. Not sure yet

I never time traveled in Wild World, which was the first game I played. So there’s more of a sense of nostalgia to the game when I don’t time travel. It gives more excitement and a sense of realism, and I like that
