I did for NL but I don't know about NH. It made getting things like villagers, hybrids and rare items a lot easier which was great but maybe I'll just go with the flow this time ingame.
I won't even know what to buy haha! It's possible I will want to buy some flowers or something though? If that's possible. I donno I'll probably just enjoy the game and the community for a while! Unless I see something I really need. I can be pretty impulsive lmao.
Definitely! I don't use tbt for anything else, so I might as well use it for buying items. Especially flowers, as I just don't have the patience for breeding hybrids and such.
Not at the beginning. But that might change depending on how the game play is! I still want to avoid using it early game though. I might buy igb to pay off loans, however
I'd use it for region locked items. Maybe once I have a theme for my town and there's any items I'm missing that simply fill the few blank spots!
Also if we have a limited amount of flowers around the town and not many easy ways to get them, I'd do some trading for more just to make breeding hybrids a little bit easier.
i think to begin with i'll do as much as i can independently, especially because the tbt/igb exchange rate will probably suck for a while due to the clean slate. nevertheless, tbt was super helpful in helping me find villagers, resources and bells, so i'm definitely going to be using it again. i've even been saving up tbt ahead of the release!
i will probably wait until i'm a bit further into the game and have completed a lot of the main stuff - i have only bought things off of tbt if i desperately needed something to complete a quest (ex. gracie's fashion checks) or wanted certain pieces of clothing or furniture.
I will if there are items I can't get myself because of region exclusivity or that I want but am just struggling to find. Generally prefer not to online trade just because I'm worried that will be the moment my internet dies haha.
I actually regret using tbt to buy bells so I could pay off my final loan in new leaf. I'm going to avoid online trading until I hit a more advanced state. I enjoy the game more when I feel like I've earned it/done it on my own.
The only thing I'll buy is other regions items. The rest I'll get on my own.
If I have extra items I always give them away for free. I had a Guest town in ACNL for cataloging and free items. Left cataloging items on the beach and free items/perfect fruit at the train station to take home.
