No, I didn't buy anything for ACNL, and I won't buy anything for New Horizons either. I'll just keep playing and what I get, is what I get. For me, the point of the game is to have fun playing.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "?Its the not the Destination, It's the journey.? I think that applies in Animal Crossing, too. It's not the items, it's the fun we have playing while we find or earn those items.
I think at first people will trade with igb and later with tbt like in new leaf. But igb will be more valuable I think? So yes I will trade either for furniture I really really want and can't get my hands on!
yes because i have a lot of tbt and want rare things, but i don't want to buy bells to begin with because i want the experience of grinding in the game in order to upgrade my house et cetera.
it will mostly be stuff that i can't get myself probably, like amiibo exclusives (if that's a thing, which i suspect it might be), region specific items, or otherwise hard to come by items.
also, villagers. in the beginning i want to play ~organically~ but after a few months i will most likely want to settle for some nice villagers and then i will most likely adopt them from here.
i might if it's a small amount of tbt, like a lil hand held item or something like those spotpass things from acnl. if it's a bit more expensive i'm more hesitant to use any, but if it's for something like a villager i'm prepared to make a sacrifice.
