Day 85! So today was a pretty normal Wednesday. School was rather meh. Our Quiz Bowl's team was on the announcements, which made me feel special... for better or worse, haha. I think I'm gonna take another "tell my schedule and what I did" time. Let's begin!
First Period: Reading. Today, we studied vocabulary words for a vocabulary test we're having tomorrow (well, today as I write this... I hate getting behind.) The words are all based on the book The Diary of Anne Frank, which we finished reading not long ago.
Second Period: PE. We played dodgeball today. Well, it was a spinoff of dodgeball, so to speak. It's called Prison Ball. Basically, two teams play dodgeball. If you get hit, instead of going out, you go behind the other team's lines. If you catch a ball thrown by one of your teammates, you're back in. It's a ton of fun to play, and the most popular dodgeball game in our school!
Third Period: TAG. TAG stands for Talented and Gifted. It's the class that participated in the quiz bowl, future city thingy, and others. I pretty much used it as a study hall today; our teacher owed us after our FANTASTIC FIRST PLACE WIN AT THE QUIZ BOWL!!
Fourth Period: Consumer Science. We're working on a sewing unit currently, so I got to sew today! Unfortunately, it took me the entire class period figure out how to thread my machine, so nothing accomplished there.
Lunch: Well, before lunch, we have to spend ten minutes reading. It's a program known as DEAR: Drop Everything and Read. Then, we go eat. I assume there's not much different from our lunch than everyone elses...
Fifth Period: Algebra! The most fun class ever, right? Today we learned about factoring using the distributive property. Fun, right?
Sixth Period: History! Along with our Civil War discussion, our teacher gave us literacy tests taken by people to vote after African Americans were given freedom. It was humorous when she altered the rules, just as they would've back then.
Seventh Period: Language Arts! Today, we learned about apostrophes! Again, a very fun time.
Eighth Period: Science! Today, I finished an assignment I was working on, then had a study hall. Not much else to say.
Ninth Period: Homeroom. This week, we're playing games in our homeroom. Today was an eating contest, which we did. I had two marshmellows and two gummy worms. Yum!
And that was my school day! After school, I had church band practice and church. Nothing too detailed there. Well, because this blog was much longer than I thought it would, I'll wait until tomorrow to do my catchup blog. Until then, seeya!
Question of the day: What did you learn today?

HEY. Only i can have an animated avatar >:|

There are many ways to kill a slug, but none of them look painless.

To be honest, you were the inspiration for me getting mine, so thanks! Interesting find!

I'd assume so... I'm afraid to ask for more details, but if you want to share anymore, feel free to! Haha!
