I started the day by visiting Isabelle in the Town Hall. She told me it'd be great if I'd attend the Dream Suite Opening Ceremony. Of course, I agreed. We went to the Train Station to celebrate in the rain. The horrible weather couldn't dampen our spirits though! Cube, Beardo, Anicotti, Marcie and another person, who I later found out is called Luna, were there to celebrate. It made it even better that they had taken the time out of their day to come and say well done, even in the rain!
Afterwards, I went to speak to the villagers about the new project, and Beardo asked me to catch a stag for him. I caught a miyama stag from a nearby tree, and got a pink tartan shirt in return. It's ok I guess. Then I headed to Main Street to see what Able Sisters, Kicks and Timmy and Tommy were stocking, and basically bought the whole of each store. It's filling up my catalog though.
i went back to town afterwards and went fossil hunting. I found three, and had Blathers assess them for me. The museum already had all of them, so I sold them and some other bits and bobs I had collected, including almost everything I bought at the shops, to Reese. Afterwards, I went to the campsite and there was a big orange tent there! Inside was a bird called Robin, who wanted to move in. I said yes!
My friend, Buffy, came over to pick up a blue bookcase I had ordered for her, and repaid me with a blue clock. It's going to go in my kitchen when I finally get it! She also (very kindly) gave me an axe for free so I could chop down the trees that were on my path. I patched up the areas and then went to see Nook in Nook's Homes. I have to pay off the 598,000 Bell loan, but that can wait.
I decided to go and see Isabelle about a new PWP. I chose to place a fountain just outside of the Main Gate, so that whoever comes through can see it and be like *woah*!
I'm now on the island, ready to collect flowers from the tours to line my paths! YAY!
