Would You Describe Yourself As A 'Strong' Person?

Physically, yes. Emotionally, not so much. Depression sucks. I'm much more balanced now as an adult though.

I like to think of myself as a strong person. I was bullied in the past and have experienced things I would have preferred not to experience, but I don?t regret any of it. Everything that has happened in the past has made me the person I am today, and if I am being honest, I am learning more and more about who I am each day. I have done stupid things, but they were a learning experience. I like to consider myself strong because of how I have grown throughout the years.

We have two definitions of strong, though: physically strong or mentally strong.

I am obviously not physically strong, but I consider myself mentally strong.

Physically, I think I'm pretty strong despite not being too fit. I have to do the occasional heavy lifting in my job so it's definitely made me stronger.

Mentally I'm not too strong at all. I appear calm on the outside but I'm an anxious mess on the inside lol. I get overwhelmed easily, I'm not good under pressure, and have pretty low esteem sometimes. However, I am good at pushing things aside and not thinking about them or thinking them through logically at times. Emotionally is much the same, I can appear calm for a long time until it just breaks and my emotions start to overwhelm me. However, it's usually not long lasting, usually less than a day and I'm over it again.

Physically I've been getting stronger because of work. I sometimes lug around a 32lb bucket of creamcheese. I also lift boxes when I'm pulling in the freeezer.

Emotionally, eh, not so much. Mentally, idek. I see those kind of going hand-in-hand.

I have to say I am not emotionally strong by any means because I am very sensitive. I?m the kind of person to bottle up all of these emotions instead of releasing them, and bursting out in tears. I?m a very sensitive person honestly, but I sometimes wish that I wasn?t.
