Would you transfer from New Leaf or Start over?

whenever I start a new ACNL game i?ll always transfer what I can just to get a head start, but that?s because I?ve experienced the ?beginning? stages too many times to want to go through it again. I definitely would not do that with the new game! I?d want to experience that new/tutorial aspect of the game, catch all the bugs again, try to fill up my catalogue by exploring the new shops (please give us more unique places to shop!!!) etc. of course, that doesn?t mean I won?t time travel like a crazy person to speed up the process hahhahaa.

I think completing the encyclopedia is one of the more interesting parts of the game, so I'll start over.

I'm starting over. Possibly because I never reset New Leaf so I haven't gone through the new game slog in some time.

For those unfamiliar, this was an option from Wild World to City Folk. The only things that were actually transferred were the Catalog and Encyclopedia as well as your character looks. You still started out with 1,000 bells and a starter home, and your village was still reset to city folk as well as new villagers.

So if this was an option, would you take it?

Personally, animal crossing is about starting over for me. A "new leaf". I wouldn't take it. It shortens the life span of the game when you don't need to re catch all the fish/bugs or collect things over again.

Honestly I could go either way. I DO like starting a fresh new town in a fresh new game...but to be honest, I abandoned my New Leaf town again and can't start over because I spent like...I wanna say a week...fishing up a Coelacanth...and I even got the equally annoying to catch spider too.

So I'd probably want to transfer my encyclopedia just so I could have those two registered. I'd still have to catch them again, regardless. But at the same time, starting fresh and building and developing a new town would also be nice.

Start over. Even if I still had the 3DS (I sold it), I would still want to start over. I think the game becomes stale once you start to have an infinite amount of bells and everything you want.

I would not transfer if we are given the option to. I'd love to spend my time grinding again and starting from scratch so I can enjoy the game to the fullest. I think that I would enjoy the new game the most by playing it every day like I have with past games.

I?d like a fresh start!! New Leaf always feels rewarding restarting and filling encyclopedias and building everything back up, so with a new game entirely starting fresh sounds great. + new items and maybe new villagers??? amazing

i would not transfer at all myself, i like working my way up and it ruins the game when things are made easier at least in my opinion

I'd probably have two towns, one where I do transfer and one where I don't ^^ On one hand, It's really rewarding to see your town grow and develop, but on the other hand I don't want to let the work and effort I put into new leaf go to waste ;v;

i'm not wasting my hard work getting sanrio and 7-11 sets. NO WAY!

if you can transfer, i'd like to change up my character, and also bring a villager with me.

I would probably not transfer because i only have 1 acnl town, so playing 2 towns wouldn't be that much trouble. Now, if I could choose a villager i would obviously choose Kabuki.I don't trust luck.

It's really tempting, I kind of hope it's not an option at all. I think it'd be fun for the whole community to start from scratch!

well if it's just the catalog and encyclopedia i'd probably transfer, but it's really only the catalog i care about.

I would not transfer from New Leaf. I?m gonna turn over a new leaf, make a fresh new town. As much as I like to carry items over, I would want to start completely fresh, like I never played AC before.

I've been having two great towns that are pretty, well to me anyways and I would say no that I won't start over.

Most likely start over, it's kind of tradition with me and my towns anyway. I always like meeting new villagers and just going through the whole thing empty handed again, gives me more things to do
