Honestly the king should be glow/jacob/Tina because I am feeling confident that they are town and I trust their judgement. Maybe Vanessa.

yes, but I'm the most trustworthy to act in favor of the town. Survivor (at this point in the game) wants nothing more but to nail a scum just like town. Why take a risk on someone who could very well be scum, when everyone seems to universally agree with my claim...

you seem pretty eager. Imo survivor should be passive and wanting to surivive with no allegiance to any side at all. As survivor I do not deny the fact I would side with mafia. I don’t trust your claim:

I don’t believe kingmaker can claim, as it modkills them unless actually changed that. And again, I really believe nobody should be claiming. It does us no good in a kingmaker game.

how in the world would I "side with mafia" in this set up... hm?
The way a survivor does that in a typical set-up is by turning the tide when the mafia almost outweighs town in votes. I can't do literal anything in this set up unless I get the king power late in the game and say "hey whose mafia, lemme kill town for you." At this point in the game the quickest way to a victory from any faction is taking out the mafia, which is what I am concerned about. Why chance giving the power to someone who is unclaimed and possibly scum, when you can give it to me now: someone who is like 80% believed to be a non-hostile TP. And of course I'm eager to campaign for myself, what else can I offing do right now.... not to mention it does make a shred of sense
