I said "felt" as in past tense.
oh, woops. Misread.
I said "felt" as in past tense.
Lynchers are typically anti-town roles. They are literally playing for themselves and only themselves as their goal is to lynch the target. And honestly I'd rather be a survivor than a Fool/Jester, because honestly I'd never get lynched even if I pressed all the right buttons. What I find interesting is Tom is both a lyncher AND survivor? Does that always happen?
Why would his wincon be targeted to a blue role?
That's pretty maf sided to me. Obviously not saying you are maf sided, Tom, but damn. Why wincon = lynch a blue role. Messed up.

You claim townie but then you said you need to role claim? Didn't you already?
That confused me.
Also Cory, in response to your slight scum read on me - I'm not being defensive at all. I'm just trying to see why anyone who is sus of me, thinks so. b/c the only one to give a case on me so far is Tom. Which would mean anyone else is just hopping on some bandwagon, and that's how I'll find scum.
So do lynchers usually get another role? Like with yours?Lynchers are typically anti-town roles. They are literally playing for themselves and only themselves as their goal is to lynch the target. I still do not fully 100% believe it, no. but there has been no CC, which leads me to almost having to.Are you saying that you fully believe Tom's claim?
Why did you read that post but not the context of it? I directly asked him why he roleclaimed.
His role won't be cced no scum or third party would claim it.So do lynchers usually get another role? Like with yours?
I'm still trying to understand fully 3rd party roles. Keep in mind, my first game 3rd party was basically another scum team so now I just see them as anti-town, but reading back on other games it's hard to understand fully what they could be doing.

Yeah that was my fault. I was just ISOing his posts. Going back and reading through the actual thread I see it now, and that I misread it.
It depends on how the host wanted to work it. When I had a Lyncher in Person of Interest Mafia, when they failed their first target I gave them a second and final target. After that they essentially lost. Lynchers operate a lot like Executioners from Town of Salem, in which they have a target to lynch. But the Executioner in ToS instead changes into a Jester and their goal is to be lynched. So do lynchers usually get another role? Like with yours?

It's ultimately up to host discretion, given the character and theme of the game Daniel decided this was the best course of action since my character (based off what I read on the wiki) would have no motivation to go after any other character. Rather than just remove me from game (and negatively affect town numbers) I'm a survivor. At least that's my thought process for this all.
Hmm.
If it is a 3rd party role though, I would assume the other would CC because then that just gives us an obvious maf member.

I see. Thanks for clearing that up
Third parties can side with whoever they want to depending on their role.
I fear for lynching a PR but I need to vote so I will go back with Ares, my apologies

@Alexi This is a LIE you're taking his post out of context and trying to make something from it..... he claimed and then he said "I felt I needed to do so because.... blah blah blah" he isn't forgetting that he claimed or whatever your trying to say here
and as far as anyone else jumping on you is a bandwagoner and makes them sus ? why? I've been sus of you from D1 so does it make me scum if i vote for you after Tom?
**i see you addressed the above quote with this.....
but why did you go ISO his post without reading the thread in its entirety to completely understand whats going on? maybe you are just trying to pic a target and take him down so you ISO his post to see what you can twist as "scummy" ?
My wincon was not met, otherwise I would be out of the game already. As a Lyncher, I have to have my target lynched. Entropy died via a night kill, hence my Survivor half coming into play now.Basically I have no reason to believe Tom is town-sided given his lyncher role, but now with that win-con being met, I'd like to see how he takes the rest of this game.
