So apparently I voided him...I apologize profusely, I have no idea what happened. I assumed he'd be in boxes the following day like when you kick them out via campsite, but I think maybe he was in boxes the same day I invited the other villager? So when I moved forward another day it was just a sold plot. I am so so sorry!!! I should've attempted this on another villager first as a test run ;-;

If you'd like, maybe I could drop into your island then leave in the hopes that you'll receive him through my void? I'm really so gutted this happened, I can't say sorry enough D':

I wanted to be perfectly transparent with my usage of amiibo at this time, since my rules stated that I would not be using amiibo in any capacity. This was an exception, since I goofed and accidentally voided a lurkerd-for villager, I wanted to try everything in my ability to correct my mistake.

I want everyone to know that I have never moved in a villager, or kicked out a villager via amiibo until this point.
I will no longer be using the amiibo functionality, unless upon request by a LURKER. For example, you needing a villager quickly / are unable to hold a plot open for an indefinite amount of time, etc.

I just wanted to set that straight, since I'm aware not everyone feels comfortable adopting villagers that were kicked out via amiibo, despite the issue allegedly being patched. I know some people still want to play safe, which is why I wanted this addressed.​
