So, am I the only one out there who's disappointed with the "city" aspect of City Folk / Let's Go to the City?? I mean, there's some cool stuff to do... I guess... like get your shoes shined and see the whole Shrunk / Frillard show. And it's nice to see Shampoodle moving out on her own instead of having to lease space from Nook. I just thought there would be... well... more. You know? I thought that maybe they would have different shops that open and close as you progressed through the game. Like competitors to Nook and Redd, or to the Ables and Gracie... they would open for a few months, then close their doors to be replaced by a different store for awhile.
Mostly, I thought there would be night life. I mean, seriously, there's NOTHING to do and NOBODY to see in the city at night. It's just plain dead. There's more action in my crappy little town after 10pm than in the bustling "city."
I don't know what I was expecting, exactly, but I was definitely expecting more than this. Am I alone here or are there others out there with this opinion?
