That we can save letters like in the real animal crossing, so that when you run out of space in your letter box you don't need to buy another letterbox or delete important things!

You've only been here for like two months, I don't expect you to be able to afford them yet. lol

and no, I seriously doubt anything will be adjusted with the bells. I have no power over them, but Jeremy is very adamant about how the forum bells are handled.

:c It was only a suggestion... No need to be so harsh...

I didn't mean to come off as harsh. D=

All I meant was it takes a while to accumulate bells. Unless you're posting like 100+ every day.
You get around 1-6 bells every time you make a post. So the longer you stick around and post, the more bells you'll make to be able to get some of the fancier items in the shop.

Besides, everything should be taken in to consideration, no matter how worthless or bad it is. I don't believe my opinion was taken seriously. Sure, expanded inboxes were probably made for the intention that there could be more saved, but I thought it would be nice to express what was on my mind for a little while. But a super moderator saying I'd only been on the site for ''two months'' didn't make me feel like my opinion was very welcomed... I never mentioned it even had to be cheaper, either. I just wanted to show my idea. So I apologize if this has caused any offence to you, but I wanted to show my opinion, and I did, just to be turned down in such a manor. Maybe the answer would be the same from other people or moderators, however it could of been taken down in more of a serious and appropriate manor... :(

I know that, but it's a suggestion and that's all... .n.;

I'm sorry you feel offended, but I'm not gonna candy coat or bull**** any answers I give to people on here who want their opinions taken seriously.

We can't just add features to the site. A lot of the features we have now cost money.
It's great that so many people want to give their suggestions and everything, but our last "suggestions" thread went out of control because people were expecting too much.

Again, sorry for the rude comment.

What is there to consider? If we followed through with your suggestion it would completely rule out the point of the mailboxes. I don't see how Gallows could've handled the situation any differently.

To add to what the mods have said-

Did you know you can do this with your messages?
dyk.jpg

Also cancels out the whole point of saving a message when you can just download it or move it to a safe place.

I think she was more concerned with the tact that was used rather than the validity of the suggestion. When someone is stating something matter-of-factly using a textual medium it often comes across (sometimes mistakenly) as rudeness. This is an area of opportunity to emphasize soft skills. Nothing wrong with adding customer service style phrasing and words. It's really easy, but sometimes takes some effort and practice.

Cheers!

Twisted Circuits is right! (Thank you. c:)

You can already do this. In your inbox, scroll to the bottom and you should see:

"Download all Private Messages as:
XML | CSV | Text"

This saves them to your computer at least.

Edit: I see Horus already pointed this out

Personally, I just think the shops should always be stocked so nobody has this proble--*bricked*
