You moving any of your villagers out for the new villagers or using new amiibo cards in general?

Maybe? I’m considering bringing Azalea, Roswell, and Frett onto my island. Runners- up would be Tiansheng and Ione.

I’d consider allowing Nate, Benedict, Boots, Cherry, or Huck to move, depending on the species and personality moving in. I always like to have one of each personality and there are so many good animal designs that I limit myself to one of each species.

The only one I want to replace atm is my jock. I’m not particularly fond of him and he was my last move in so kicking him out with a camper was impossible. I’m hoping I can even get my hands on the cards then I will probably tryout out whichever jock I get. My other villagers are ones I’m fond of so even if I have or when I get their photo they will have to ask to move

It depends on the amiibo cards I get but I have some plans yeah.

I'm thinking of replacing Renée with Shino, Eugene with Sasha and Sprocket with Cephalobot.

But if I do so I will not have a Jock on my island anymore so we'll see... Anyway I'm not in a hurry because I still want to get Eugene's and Sprocket's photos before I say goodbye to any of them.

I definitely want to see some of them in game, but I really don’t know yet if I’ll give any of them a permanent home. There are some villagers I’m in the fence with as far as moving them out while others are irreplaceable to me and I’d never consider it. Only time will tell if I get an attachment to one of the new villagers.

I totally agree with this way of seeing things. I also need to met them in game to know if they're gonna be permanent residents of my island.

I'm tempted but still unsure about it, I had my villagers for so long and kinda bonded with them...on the other hand I really like some of the new villagers (Sasha is so cutee) and some of the animals of my island I had them in New Leaf already.

Nope. If one of the new villagers show up on a mystery tour, then I will let them move in but I'm not going to actively kick out villagers for them. I'm cool with any villager on my island, whether they be the new villagers or the old ones.

Some of my villagers I've had for a long time. I'm honestly looking forward to rotating some of them out and getting new ones. I really want Shino. She fits my Japanese aesthetic town so much.

I've decided to move out Beau and Judy for Sasha and Shino. I didn't really want to move Beau out, but it was between him and Sherb, and Sherb is just too cute to let go. Hopefully I'll be able to get their amiibo cards in-store on release day.

yes and yes! i’ve got 6 packs of series 5 amiibo cards preordered, so i imagine that i’ll be using them for the next couple of months at least. i currently don’t have plans to move out any of my dreamies, but once i’ve received their photos, i’ll be moving out raymond, agnes (potentially; i’m undecided lol), and whoever replaces midge (i have her photo, but i might just let her stay until friday instead of tt’ing her out) to bring in a few of the new villagers. shino is the only one i’m certain i’ll be keeping permanently, and i won’t know about the others until i actually have them, but i’m planning on inviting them all to my island so that i can get to know them and obtain their posters/photos.

however, if i grow attached to more than just shino and have to make room, i’ll likely be moving out fuchsia and/or fauna as well — i just won’t know who’ll be replacing them until it happens. :’)

Preface: not sure I'll be able to entertain the thought of amiibos. I've yet to score even a single pack on pre-order and seeing as they drop this week, it's finding them in store or bust. Unless a small miracle happens, I'm not holding my breath.

First island-
Moving out Twiggy and Robin to a shared HHP home!
Quinn's my only ASAP out of the new villagers, but I'm also not rushing to get her since I'll be busy for a few weeks before I can spend long enough spans of time on the 2.0 update/HHP. Until then, I'm going to be avoiding a lot more on TBT so I don't end up spoiled on her house or catchphrase or hobby.
I'm likely going to island hop for the other slot, not looking for anyone in particular. But again, it'll be a while before even my first slot is open.

Second island-
I have three peppies ATM. (send help.) Since I've recently gotten her photo, I'll be bidding Pango adieu in advance of reuniting with Rio. I've also got Colton as an accidental voided villager, he does NOT fit my ACGC theme and regardless, I already have two other horses right now! (Ed and Annalise)
Unfortunately he's been stuck on the infamous #10 slot and I'd like to island hop to replace him. (my campsite is....uh, very broken. I've seen every villager through it and I can't reliably campsite cycle, nor do I want to. Way more effort than it's worth once you 'break' your campsite.)
But the second Colton is #9, his new-fangled 3DS horsey booty is outta here. Nothing against Colton, but there's no place for him on the Gamecube island. (Ed is the OG smug horse and the only smug horse for me)
