I guess it doesn't look too bad once it's fully worn away but when it's in the process of wearing away, it looks horrible.

I suggest you stop walking over the exact same spots though, there's plenty of other areas to walk.

And then what? Rip up another path? The areas I'm testing with flowers and whatnot have yet to show any regrowth so I cannot afford to destroy anything else until I figure out how to fix intentional spots of decay.

a path???? oh that's why it looks weird on this hill of mine i walk directly in the middle of it every day that's a cool affect but it looks ugly i wonder if that will happen with snow that would be cool if i melted path of snow was in places

Does the path still form if you only walk?

Walking does infact create paths too as I've tested it personally. It just takes longer.

Im sure it just looks so bad because it is Fall Im sure it doesn't look half as bad in the summer. I would well believe the snow will fade away when you run on it and last I don't think it gets damaged if you stick to walking

From the look of Blue Cup's video it has to be directly on the path area for it to affect the growth rate at all.

I'm beginning to think that the fauna doesn't have to be anywhere near your paths to affect regrowth now. I've noticed that ever since I've begun planting more and more flowers behind Nooks(There's this neat crevice back there) and the grass is beginning to wear down less(even growing back).

So I'm going to assume that having a great amount of flowers in your town covers the entire field instead of just one area(which didn't make much sense to me)

Nope. I was watching my sister play and while paying close attention to the grass she walked over, I noticed pieces disappearing too..

Regardless, they made it happen way too easily, in the interview they said 2 months, it really irks me that it happens so easily.

That would make sense, seeing as the grass is kinda dead at the moment

I popped in WW today since I couldnt be home all day, and I noticed the ground is a lot more bare in WW than CF I never noticed the lack of grass in WW, so I guess im more okay with it, I just hate that inbetween semi-disappearing, its hideous.

I hope it doesnt happen in winter

Yea it does look horrible, I would probably keep running over it until it died just to get rid of it XD
