Pokémon your favorite of the diamond, pearl and platinum

im playing my platinum game and it made me think

which of these 3 its your favorite?
i used to have pearl but it got lost then when platinum came i picked platinum and turn out to be good
but i miss my purugly because my brother gave me one when he had diamond

I skipped over Diamond and Pearl and got Platinum just to experience Sinnoh at all. I left the series after Crystal and came back for HeartGold and SoulSilver, so I figured I'd just pick up the game where I could actually catch Dialga, Giratina, and Palkia in one game instead of wasting money on three separate games. For as slow as Platinum is to save, even compared with HGSS, I stand by that decision.

I played Platinum first. After playing that, I turned to Diamond and Pearl but they are waayyy too slow compared to Platnum.

Diamond I could have bought Platinum as I get into the 4th gen well after it was out, but Platinum never really drew me in. Even though I did realize people considered as the better game I was more drawn towards Diamond. So that's what I got and I loved it. ^_^

Platinum is the better choice if you've never played gen 4. You get more value, since you can catch pretty much everything in one game.

Platinum. I think it's a better version of the D/P story, and a lot of the problems of D/P (like the slow battle system) were fixed.

I got Platinum a while after it had come out, I hadn't played any game in Sinnoh and I wanted to play at least one game from each region. I honestly just picked which game out of the three had the coolest looking legendary on the box and it happened to be Platinum and I really loved it. I thought it had good content and the game was a challenge at times.

Reading some of the replies saying D/P are really slow makes me pretty glad I just kind of randomly went with Platinum.

I prefer Diamond for purely sentimental reasons. Platinum is better and less frustrating though.

I love all three (gen four is still my favorite) but I chose Platinum. Even though Diamond was my first Pok?mon game I chose Platinum because as much as I hate to say it Diamond and Pearl are slow.
Plus Platinum has the Battle Frontier, Giratina's and Shaymin's new forms, the distortion world, and Detective Looker, plus other things I somehow forgot about.
Not to mention it a bit fixes some of Diamond and Pearl's "issues".
I remember getting the Oak's Letter and Member's Pass so I get Darkrai and Shaymin in Platinum that was so awesome! I loved catching Shaymin with a primere ball and Darkrai with a dusk ball, the strugle was real, but worth it in the end. (now if only I can get a shiny Mew in a moon ball.)
I can't wait for the Diamond and Pearl remakes! (Probably not happening until the 8th gen of Pok?mon) I want them to be called Eternal Diamond and Infinite Pearl, the fan names Adamant Diamond and Lustrous Pearl are ok but I think my names sound a lot better.

I enjoyed playing platinum, but that wasn't until after Black and White. Gotta go with Diamond. Man, I feel nostalgia everytime I go back to that summer 9 years ago. :')
