your favourite scented candle scent?

I prefer lighter scents. I don't think I have a favorite.. I used to like the fruity/sugary scents, but they just make me hungry now d:
Candle shops make my nose burn, so I don't really buy candles anymore. My mom loves scented things though, so she'll give me an extra candle every once in a while :)

None, basically. I don't use them cause I can't stand that chemical smell and it gives me headaches/allergic sneezes etc.

I don't mind actual incense sticks though but yeah those sold in home/perfume stores nope.

Cinnamon, vanilla, lavender, jasmine. I also adore wood wicked candles- the crackling is just so peaceful. 💜

I love most everything that smells good but I think my favorite is this Christmas pine and chocolate candle that someone bought me off Etsy one time. It smelled so good even though it was an odd combination! Second most I think I like anything fall, except cinnamon!

I prefer difusing essential oils these days, but I would have so say lavender is my favorite cliché sent.

I have a sensitive sense of smell so I don't have any personal scented candles but I remember a classmate of mine back in middle school who owned scented candles and I remember it as something minty and cool and ever since then I think I've liked that scent. But on a personal level I don't particularly favor any scented candle enough to own one.

do you guys use scented candles? over the past few years ive tried various brands from mass produced (the good healthy ones) and artisans and i realised that i always gravitate towards scents that imitate food. right now my fav scent is Buttercream from Yankee Candle! Yankee produces a lot of seasonal scents too and i love their christmas scent especially the food ones. mmm
Roasted marshmallow and vanilla cupcake I wanna eat em yummmm

Any are good I change my mind a lot. I like lemon and cupcake/ vanilla smells. It has to be a good candle because otherwise I won’t use it.

Oh gosh, I love candles. I tend to like light floral citrus, vanilla, and coffee/tea scents. I’m not super into musky scents (I don’t want my bedroom to smell like a Hollister) or foodie smells (they smell super good but they make me hungry). I just ordered a bunch from bath and body works (PSA: they have a sale about to end). My favorites from there are Paris Café, Rosewater and Ivy, and Lemon Lavender. I order them seasonally, so this time I went for a bunch of their new fall stuff.
Besides Bath and Body Works, I like the candles with the wood wick (and I always burn Fireside in the fall).
Side note: if anyone has a recommendation for candles that aren’t from Bath and Body Works, I wanna hear ‘em.

Oh man I really like fruity scents and got a Voluspa Tarocco Orange & Goji Berry candle and the scent is SO GOOD

It is like $30/candle tho so not sure if I would buy another one 😭

I really like the smell of Black Cherry Merlot from Bath and Body Works. It’s one of the only ones I really like from there. They have it in candle form but also in hand soap and car air freshener.

I’m not a fan of overly sweet smelling candles. They give me headaches.

My house used to be filled to the top with Yankee Candles. My school district loved to fundraisers with them. I can't remember the name but I love this very deep red color one. Just went to their site and boy to they have a lot of red ones. I also remember their pie scented one I liked as well.

I'm so boring. I love vanilla. Pretty much anything that makes the house smell like we just baked something.

I generally don't burn scented candles, but I always used to go for the ones like, clean laundry, or like ocean breeze. In fall/winter, I used to go for home sweet home or balsam fir. Sweet smells tend to give me a headache for some reason and they're a fire hazard.

I was never allowed to burn candles at home since my parents were terrified I'd burn the house down, and the contract for my apartment at uni specifically prohibited the use of candles so.. I've never really used them!

Growing up, I had a friend who loved Bath and Body Works candles, and we used to burn them all the time at her house. I can't stand a lot of the sickly sweet smells; I prefer something more subtle and natural like lavender.

... And now this is reminding me of YouTube circa like, 2014 when scented candles were everywhere, when all the big YouTubers were doing Bath and Body Works hauls and candle tutorials...

i love mahogany teakwood from bath and body works!! really musky it’s just UGH chefs kiss. and although i’ve never had it, i wanna get vampire blood from b&bw just cause im rereading twilight rn LMAO

Fall scented candles are the best, imo. My favorite is probably Apple Weather from Bath and Body Works. I also really like lilac scented candles too. Growing up there was a lilac bush right outside my bedroom and I remember how nice it was to open my window and smell it during the spring!

I really like the clean linen, beachy and flowery smells!
