Splatoon Your opinion on the octo expansion

I been very hype about it
I can't wait to know more information about it
I do hope they will also talk about the salmon
Because I'm curious at them and will explain how pearl and marina met up

Though some questions I still have
Who agent 7
And why agent 3 it's not with cuttlefish
And a little theory and question
Is agent 3 will be the final boss
Since the trailer agent 3 dint gave a good eye to the octo


But anyway what your opinion on it?

I'm super excited for the octo expansion myself, the new single player campaign looks extremely fun!

And as for your questions...
I think Agent 5 & 6 are Pearl and Marina, with Sheldon or C.Q. Cumber as Agent 7
Agent 3 is back with captain cuttlefish from their vacation from inkopolis tower
I believe that Agent 3 is just suspicious of Agent 8 as he/she has fought octolings in the past, not sure if they'll be the final boss

Actually agent 3 and cuttlefish got separate that why you don't see the together
And I don't think Sheldon it's agent 7 since it's cuttlefish who say who are the agents so probably C.Q. but we're still not sure


Though imy happy that the Canon agent 3 it's a girl

I'm excited to see the DLC. I've gotten the preorder gear rewards, now to wait. I can't get it out of my mind that Splatoon 1 hackers are partially responsible for Nintendo bringing DLC that gives us a chance to play as an Octoling in Online Play, since people chose female characters so they could use mods to make their character an Octoling, since it was in the game's coding for female playable Octolings, but not male. Hopefully we'll be able to play as a male Octoling

Judging by NintendoLife's hands on of the DLC single-player campaign, it looks like to be a much more substantial addition to Hero Mode in terms of challenge. And that gets me excited!

Even though Splatoon 2's original Hero Mode in general is much improved over the previous installment, the DLC is what the campaign sorely needed at launch.

I've never played either Splatoon game and am generally sort of disinclined to ever get around to playing them since I'm not really a fan of the shooter genre, however loosely such a designation can be applied to the Splatoon games. However, I recall having a discussion with a friend who owns Splatoon and the topic of Octolings came up. I commented that I'd want to play as one of them instead of the Inklings because they looked a bit cooler.

So, needless to say, learning that there is now going to be an option to play as an Octoling in 2 came as a pleasant surprise. Should I ever find myself in a situation where I'm playing Splatoon 2, I'd totally try this expansion out. My opinion, albeit ignorant considering my lack of experience playing the games? I approve.

I think the DLC is nice and I'll most likely get it but I'm not super excited for it or anything. My hope is that the DLC will make me play Splatoon 2 more as I didn't play much of it when it first came out.

I have yet to play this series, but I agree with the general posts here that this should encourage more people to play Splatoon. I may pick up a copy of Splatoon once I have a Switch.

I didn't play it on my own yet, but I have seen some Let's Plays of it and it looks pretty awesome. Once I have a Switch, I will definitely gonna get Splatoon 2 as well as the Octo Expansion.

I just finished it, and it was honestly amazing. The story was much better than the regular campaign, and it was FRUSTRATINGLY CHALLENGING. But they did a great job, and NOW people can officially say that Splatoon 2 is a proper sequel.

The DLC isn?t anything like the current singleplayer at all imo. In the current singleplayer, it?s just go from point A to point B. A few levels in Octo Expansion are like that but most of them have different objectives like defending an orb or hitting switches on a pool table - and even the levels that are point A to point B are significantly more challenging than the current singleplayer and have new mechanics to make them unique from Hero Mode.

The expansion also doesn?t really focus on Octoling lore as much as you would think; it focuses more on Off the Hook and the testing facility you are in.

And doing that boss and all missions with all weapons

It sure felt amazing
Though some stuff confused me but everything was great
It felt new and not like the hero mode at all

I love the new expansion and all the new characters! I definitely appreciate that they’re nodding their heads to more experienced players by making the levels that much harder, but I do feel bad for younger fans. I know players who are very young and they really struggle with the levels... They do have the option to have Marina or Pearl help with the level, but then they don’t get Mem Cakes! Heck, I’m an older player and even I struggle, so I do feel bad in that regard, but all in all I love the variety of level types, even if they do take me forever to complete and give me a headache in the process~

I don?t have the patience for the expansion. I?m not really having fun being under pressure to limited playtime and regret spending money on it x_x I wish I could go back to my less busy school days.
I?m glad there?s the hacking option after 2 tries because otherwise, it would take me too long.
