So, I was curious in hearing your thoughts about this seasonal phenomena.

For me, it's pretty fun but you have to discipline yourself into drawing daily especially when you have 31 days to fill in the art challenge. I'm not a big fan of Inktober but I go for alternatives if I commit myself to art challenges again.

I don't participate in them since I'm not big into art myself, though I enjoy seeing what other people draw.

I like seeing them, I don't draw myself but 31 days of drawing sounded exhausting

i can't draw at all, but i love seeing the art! i'm more into the writing challenges.

I always forget this is a thing until October starts lol
I wouldn’t have the discipline or the time to do it, but it is cool that it pushes people creatively!

i'm not an artist, but i do think they can be a fun challenge if you have the motivation to see them through! i did a written version of inktober once where i took the prompts and wrote a ficlet (500-1000 words, but often a little more) every day of october based on them. i did a similar month-long challenge in may the other year, though the words for that one were completely random lol. honestly, idk that i could do it again. at least not currently. challenge is not an understatement.

I like the concept of them but I cannot stick to it for the life of me 😭 my motivation comes and goes sadly, maybe I can hold that motivation for a week but anything longer and i start to falter. big kudos to those who stick around for it though!! maybe one day for me.... idk....

I don't participate in Inktober, despite being an artist, but I enjoy seeing others do it.

I don't want to feel forced to draw every single day, it would be exhausting, and I tend to forget easily.

It's fun, I just got into an art challenge myself recently!! Drawing daily is certainly challenging but I think exercising your creative muscles is a good thing, plus I'm trying not to go too hard on myself since this is my first time I think.

The most common drawing challenge I see among artists during October is Inktober. But the funniest one I've seen so far is the No Art October, where you don't draw anything for the whole month.
I think this is the easiest one I can do. XD But it's too late though!! T^T

i love seeing them!! i'd love to participate, but i don't know if i can follow through with doing it everyday. maybe if i were to make each drawing something more on the simplistic side, then i can definitely see myself joining this art challenge!

I've always liked seeing them, but this is the first year I've tried doing one! Making sure I'm only doing quick drawings to make it achievable, but I like the motivation to draw at least something small every day!

They are fun but I always get too invested and then I end up spending the entire day + maybe even the entire night working on that days' art... for 31 days straight.

Last year I tried doing really basic stuff, just sketches, and it was much more doable but then a bunch of stuff happened and I only made it halfway through the challenge.

This year I am just chillin', no drawing. Maybe next year.

I think they're really neat!! I've never participated in one myself, but I love seeing all of the different prompt lists people come up with every year! I of course always love seeing the actual art as well; I especially love when I know of 2+ artists who are using the same prompt list, and I get to see their different interpretations of each prompt and how they look in their unique styles!

Eh I do not really care about the usual ones in October. I am not too big on spooky-themed stuff.

I prefer the romance-theme challenges in February 💕

I'm terrible at drawing so unfortunately no. I've always liked the concept of it and wish I could take part. However, I do enjoy seeing what others create.
