i guess my mom is alright in most stuff even if she has a horrid temper but she has *some* respect at least as long as you don't tell her too much lol.

I just read what is happening and I am at a loss of words here, I'm shocked. I am just SO happy that you are safe! When I got your letter and heard about the fires, I was thinking: "Well, by now, they probably have the fires under control." I would have never thought it would get this bad. I'm so sorry to hear your home is gone... but at least all your loved ones are OK! Material things can be replaced!
