i mean, i've got my faults as well. i just try to keep an open mind about certain things. but when it comes to mental health and helping people out, i'm pretty set in my ways and if i come off as rude or a special snowflake because of that, well it's not my problem. :^)

i can understand the whole "it's not a critically needed function that needs to be added right now". but the fact that it would really help a lot of people who do not fit the binary and who suffer from dysphoria or massive panic attacks / disassociation due to things like being misgendered / unable to convey what makes them comfortable, i don't see the point in ****ting all over something that literally has no cons to it being implemented. if you don't need your gender to be shown, don't use the function. but don't say that other's don't deserve to feel comfortable in a setting just because you personally do not give a rats ass about gender yourself. just get out of the thread then.

Thanks. I think it was sort of because I said a couple, controversial if you will, things and then people responded to them so I had to respond back so it all turned into a feedback loop. :/

this is why I don't get involved in the gender and sexuality discussions, I don't know much about it. I just saw this on another forum and I though it was a good idea.
