Last year on my birthday, there was a windstorm that knocked the power to our entire city. They didn't go back on for three days.

HOWEVER, somehow my mother and aunts managed to make a ton of food and we were all good haha

My other grandpa, sadly, was hospitalized for a long time and is now living on life support, but he's alive and well (for the most part). His wife is well and constantly visits him, and he's happy and so is she

Could be, definitely. The country of my ethnicity doesn't even make the Olympics, as far as I know, so I kinda only have Canada to cheer for sadly.

Yeah, he keeps fit, he still is able to tend to the garden and hasn't fallen in recent years which is good. He has had low blood pressure after being outside too long, and has collapsed multiple times in the heat for that very reason, which definitely isn't, but he is normally okay so it's all good.

Oh, she's okay. She walks super slow which kinda sucks and she always makes me cry internally with her "When is my time going to come?" talk but it's all good.

My grandpa goes for walks every day, but not very far or for very long. Grandpa is in his 80s, so good for him for still walking a ton, but he's too old to go far.
My grandma got into a large accident earlier in her life, and therefore can only walk really slowly and carefully. She has an iron shin, and just a whole lotta iron in her body in general

They're a little bit too old to go walking around the city with. We take them to the park and the like, but neither of them can walk for long amounts of time without getting quite tired. Grandma's still super cute tho <3

I didn't expect much from Canada tbh, but seeing them win silver in Women's 100m Butterfly and beat Italy in Beach Volleyball strikes a bit of hope in me, even if the Men's Beach Volleyball lost it to Latvia,

Not much has happened over the summer other than some serious stuff I'd rather not delve into.

On a happier note, my grandparents got back from Toronto not long ago

I've learned that someone actually had a crush on me, someone whom I considered as a good friend, and she had confessed her feelings via text. I didn't screenshot the confession (No that's mean) so I don't have actual proof, so if you don't believe me, you don't lmao

I kinda wish I could be like that, it doesn't feel normal when you're like me and someone walks up to you asking about crushes. Most people don't even believe me.

I guess I had a crush once, but it lasted like 20 minutes. 'Twas back in Grade 4, if I recall.

I don't think I've ever had a crush, surprisingly. I don't plan on dating until my senior years either since I want to focus on school, and a relationship commitment along with school at an early age. It's not worth it tbh

Not so much a food, but Milk + Cream Soda. It takes the sugar out but keeps a lot of the taste.

So my grandma, my sisters, cousins and I were all at a Greek restaurant. We were almost done eating, when my Grandma started laughing like a madwoman. When my mom asked her what happened, she said, in full Punjabi, "I farted!"

Luckily enough, we were done eating and had already paid the bill, so we could leave quick.
