270 TBT Giveaway (FINISHED)

I love the addition of minigames, they're so fun to me!

BUT, I hate that anything from the campgrounds that you buy/order, you can't re-order! You have to WAIT or buy the amiibo card with an rv that has that item! It's so awful in my opinion :\ why would they make it like that?

I think that the mini-games that they are offer up a fun diversion from the main game. My biggest complaint is the fact that it can take a really long time to unlock them, unless you have the amiibo or a friend who does.

it's a pity it came out when my interest in acnl was wavering so much, i've barely played animal crossing with the new update, i hope to get back into it in the summer though when i have more free time!

Is the only way to play the mini games is to get an ingame 3ds or wii?

Sadly yes, but if you have one of the Animal Crossing amiibo figurines, you can scan them to make them appear in your campground. The upside, they all have 3ds's and wiius. The downside, whoever you scan will be replaced with Wisp, thus making the feature impossible for the rest of the day.

For instance, you scan Mabel. If you do, you can't buy clothes or design pro-patterns for the day, so if you want to do so, you'll have to wait until the next day when Mabel returns.

I liked the Harvey's campsite addition, but after a while it gets boring with the same repeating RVs.
The new mini-games are fun too! I prefer DIE (nice acronym lol) because it has a lot more depth than the puzzle one (I forget what it's called).

Hello people ~ Thanks for hosting this Alolan_Apples!
I haven't played Desert Island Escape or Puzzle League in ages, my gosh ._. I was obsessed with both for a while, especially Puzzle League. PL was so frustrating for me at first, but then I got the hang of it and smashed out a couple modes. I do prefer DIE though.

Hiya all!
I haven't had the chance to play either minigame yet but I got to watch my friend play Desert Island Escape and it looks like a lot of fun. Do you get anything for beating the minigames, or are they just there as a time waster sort of thing? The 3ds item is really cute and I can't wait to get my hands on one~

Even if Desert Island Escape is a larger game and requires more strategy, I find Puzzle League to be a better game since the target scores in DIE are a huge pain.

But here is a suggestion. Some classes like the hearty traveler and the whimsy require one portion of food per night, so gathering the same amount of food with a class of only these animals will grant you a greater food bonus than it would with animals from the gimme gimme class and headlong charge class.

I'm currently playing Desert Island Escape. One big problem besides their high target scores is how the locations of items always randomize when you start over a level. I understand if they want to prevent cheating, but that's making the game even harder.

The update was nice, they brought a bunch of great items to the table. The minigames are really fun as well and a fresh breath to the game c:

We made it to the 1/3 mark. Who's gonna land on comment 100? Whoever it is, you'll get the bells.

After playing DIE and PL a lot last month, it seems that Puzzle League was more promising to me, cause I am good at Puzzle League in general, as I was glad that it made its way into ACNL.

I have a village of penguins, eagles, and several other weird villagers, and I used amiibo cards of koalas, ostriches, and bears throughout most of the journey in Desert Island Escape. Not trying to brag, but amiibo cards are going to make your quest easier.
